i booked mine in for a p1 £250 all in @ marshall nissan, expensive i know for an oil change and filter, the best bit was when i asked if the plugs had been done last year as part of the p3 and the car being 5 years old the answer was no they weren't, when i asked how much to change them the guy spouted some sh1t about because they're iridium tipped £300 i laughed at him and said that i would do it myself thanks

I'm just going to throw this out there,but could it possibly be that the reason when you take your car to a place like this the only things they ever find that need replacing are the items that they 'specialise' in and can make money from!!! Heard it time and time again, car goes for mot & fails on worn tyre,low pads,worn discs,leaking shocks etc.

the guy must be into this for some serious wedge! i would love to know what he paid for it

I'm confused!! If the car is insured under your girlfriends name why would you have to involve your insurance at all?
