Did u leave pads out and pressed brake pedal few times? I did that few months ago with no disc or pads inside the caliper lol
As Alex said - it pushes in, just make sure it goes in evenly! Use a bit of brake fluid to lubricate it.
Check seals while you at it... I bought a new set of seals from Clark Motorsport and replaced then while I was at it

Plus they will be like brand new as he will send them off to get refurbished. (Or whatever it's called in brake industry lol )
Fair play for not giving up mate and sorting new engine quite quick!
As mentioned on previous page by ClarkMotorsport - Genuine Nissan oil are the bet for gear box (and diff for future reference), same as coolant/anti freeze - genuine Nissan one is recommended! I'm sure Ewen@ClarkMotorsport will sort you out with everything in no time!
Best of luck with the swap!
Ouch! Not good!
A mate of mine owns body shop and really good at it, but he is in Redditch, near Birmingham.
But I'm sure he will be able to do full job in a day as he has baking booth etc etc, if you wanted to drive up one day.
P.s. I have similar set (with few less items) and its perfect!
All work done on Zed recently (including fitting SC and replacing suspension) I did just using that set!
