I agree that the Nissan dealer seems to know less about my Zed than I do - and really I know nothing at all except what I've learnt on the forum! I have received very good advice on this thread and know I will have to get my clutch problem sorted out properly by someone who does know what they are doing but I intend to keep hassling the dealership for as long as I can, just to annoy them if nothing else. As a family we have spent thousands on petrol alone (it's a filling station too) over the years but a new garage has just re-opened nearby so I am going to tell them that they have lost the custom for three cars, two petrol and one disel, because of their stubborn, "nothing we can do to help" attitude

I'm still arguing with the dealership but getting nowhere at all. The warranty period will be up soon so I am going to have one last go at replicating the problem and then getting to the garage (I hope ) and chucking the keys at one of the technicians and hoping he gets in the car quickly enough before everything cools down and goes back to normal. I have absolutely no faith that this will happen though as they kept me waiting for about half an hour last time I went up
