  1. OK, so I picked up my Clio on Saturday and reluctantly paid the (mahoosive) bill. Started the car and instantly noticed a difference. It sounded much healthier - there was a definite improvement. I think the bearing in the waterpump must of been grumbling for a while before the pump finally gave up, but also, after doing a bit more digging around on Clio Sport forums, the dephaser pulley can get noisy when tired. So changing this was a good shout, even though the local Renauly dealer had to order it as "We've never ever supplied one of those before mate". I gave the car a wash and polish on Saturday afternoon (after a bit of a thrash around the B roads : ) and needless to say, we're friends again now
  2. Can't say I'm a fan of the colour, but can appreciate the time and effort that went into it. I tip my cap to you Sir So, you have a bright yellow Zed and a metallic pink Beetle parked on the drive? Bet those colours don't clash much!
  3. I'll just leave this here.....
  4. Cheers. They're standard seats that I re-coloured. More pics n' stuff here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81278-new-seats-sort-of/
  5. BEFORE These two pics were taken from the original For Sale ad (And to think I still bought it)! AFTER
  6. IIRC the 4 seat conversion was done purely so the guy could carry his dog on the back seats. There's certainly no headroom and even less than no legroom.
  7. BBK. You can recolour any leather. Changing black to red is not a problem. I changed my black seats to a very light grey (similar to frost) without any issues. I'm sure buying frost seats to dye them would be seen as a little cot reversal
  8. Although I think they're the ever-so-slightly different 'Kinnards'....

    Bike Rack

Just get a Saris Bones. End of. Fits my 350 without any issues and I'll betcha a slap in the face with a wet fish, it'll fit the 370 too.
  10. A bit off topic I know, but did anyone else pick up the fact that Richy has a 19 year old petrol head daughter? Back on topic: Parello9 you have a very sorted '50 - enjoy it!

    350z leather seats

I believe this is true too.
  12. Gunmetal and orange do work well together The wheels remind me of Minilites
  13. Not sure if it helps Mike, but I know posts on these two threads (from me and other members) have disappeared. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88469-engine-dress-up-conduit/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88480-designated-city-centre-forum-parking/
  14. I was thinking the same. Did someone unplug a server so they could boil the kettle for a Pot Noodle?
  15. I'm sure within that time we: Told someone they needed a stubby Told someone they needed spacers Told someone that the colour of their car was the best Told someone the colour of their car wasn't the best, but welcome to the forum anyway Told someone to sort their front wheels out so they match the rears.
  16. It's a shame, cos I'm sure in the time that we've 'lost', I've said some very useful and meaningful things*. *First time for everything I guess
  17. Yep, I've noticed this too. (I just asked the same question)
  18. Ah! It would appear so! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88506-wheres-everything-gone/
  19. Recent posts sem to have disappeared I've noticed on a few threads I read earlier, that comments made over the last couple of hours seem to have disappeared? Anyone else spotted this?
  20. It's just PVC electrical tape Rich.
  21. Been doing a bit more digging and with the cost of the dephaser pulley, it doesn't seem too extreme. Still gonna question it tho. But, whilst browsing the interweb looking for a pic of the engine so I can highlight what a total PITA the whole job is, I stumbled across this... Oh. Oh my... I still hate it though!
  22. Thanks mate. I'm in a right sulk at the moment So many what ifs and maybe's, but it's done now. The Clio's sorted, it's just kicked me in the wallet.
  23. No, don't tell me that now Stu. Car was finished today. Cambelt kit, waterpump, dephaser pulley, total bill £790 I could cry. I'm going to pick it up on Saturday and question labour and cost of parts used. I know hate the Clio and want to kill it with fire. It's mouthwash's fault saying I'll spend nearly a grand. I rang the local Renault dealer, just so I had a bit of ammunition when I questioned the bill. They want £1100 to do the same job. Good job I sold my bike yesterday. At least I had some money for 3 days...
