Hi Alex and You've made a good start by finding this place, now good luck with your search for a Zed

As SMD says, replacing the head unit with a main brand one AND the associated patch lead maintains most of the steering wheel controls. I changed mine for an Alpine double DIN along with the patch lead and the volume and track selection buttons were not affected, but the phone buttons in the middle of the 2 now act as a 'source' button (i.e. select radio, CD etc). Plenty of useful stuff in the ICE section on this site. Ohand to the forum

I'm not even going to enter into negotiations. I have a very nice Zed myself and have no reason to get rid of her - except yours is nicer-er with the ICE etc. You wouldn't want mine anyway - it's the wrong colour. I'm glad you've decided to keep her, it's a fantastic example. Hopefully see you at a meet soon.

I hope you sell this soon mate. I'm trying to resist asking if you'd take a standard GM 350Z as a part ex for yours, as I like all the extras you've added and think I now prefer your interior to my black one.
