  1. Turns out that the £334 quote I mention in my original post was with the maximum of 6 mods you're allowed to enter on any online quotation site. When trying to contact the insurers directly to declare my other (relatively minor) mods, they refused to insure me as the 'total mod count' was over the magic number of 6. Sky Insurance came to the rescue and managed to get me, my car and my mods fully covered for £522. Moral of the story is: It's cheaper (for me at least), to insure an unmodified Lambo Gallardo than it is to insure a modified 350Z.
  2. You'll need to run it on super unleaded too, such as Tesco Momentum or Shell V power/Optimax.
  3. Glad you've finally sold it buddy and also glad it's staying withing the forum
  4. Looks good. Suits the Fiat with the black stripe Better to apply too much than not enough. If its applied thinly its a PITA to peel off.
  5. I wouldn't mind having a full detail session with those ....
  6. Hello and Good luck with your search.
  7. Is the plastic part under the rear strut brace still available? I'm after the side that faces forwards (the bit you can see when looking from the driver's seat into the rear if the car/boot)? It's in the 6th pic down.

    My Z32 SWB

Looks a very nice example. Congrats
  9. Hello and Mike. There's a fair few of us in the West Mids and around Tamworth, so sign up for the mail list in the Regional Meets section and we'll hopefully see you soon
  10. An all too familiar story Hello and Adam. Where are you located?
  11. Congrats on the new purchase Dave and (finally) to the forum and Zed ownership.
  12. Congrats on your new purchase and to the forum.
  13. I think the e46 was much better looking than the later models (sorry not sure what they're called now). I've had three e46 328ci but never stepped up to the M3. Be looking forward to see what you end up with.
  14. +1 +2 I find the best thing to put between my door edge and a wall, or parked car, or indeed anything that may cause damage to the edge is fresh air. The more the better.
  15. Be careful when exiting wet roundabouts though as the Zed is RWD and easy to spin. I've no idea how you got it on swings tho RT.
  16. "The car you looked at today and will go back and buy tomorrow is the car someone looked at yesterday and will buy today". Or something like that
  17. David, where you mention Plastidip, I'm assuming you mean black? Please don't think about trying the (so called) gunmetal Plastidip. I did and learned the hard way that it looks more like grey primer. No response from Plastidip UK customer services and 2 unused cans still in a box
  18. I drove past you as you we're reversing onto your drive with the roof down about 5.45pm today. Gave you a beep of the horn but couldn't see if there was a reaction/wave.
  19. Fit the splitter when it arrives, takes some shots of the car with it fitted, then ask very very nicely on here if a Photoshop guru can do their magic. Then we can vote. But ultimately, it'll be the one you like best that you should go for
  20. Any plans for any other mods such as skirts or spats etc? Or you just gonna stick with the splitter?
