  1. I'd be interested to know who makes the Halfords branded oil. As far as I know, there are only a handful of large oil companies, each producing their own products. I was not aware that Halfords had their own oil refinery and R&D facility somewhere
  2. +4 But if no joy at Nissan, did they come on with the headlights or sidelights? Either way, it'll be a case of removing your front bumper and tracing the wiring. I'd definitely put your angry face on and go back to Nissan first though.
  3. Hello and to the forum. Great to have another Midland Zed owner
  4. Delay in posting on here, but received mine and fitted them and they're awesome, cheers Pete I've looked a bit of a numpty as I've also recently fitted bonnet dampers, so just keep opening and closing my bonnet and boot and enjoying their new 'action' So that's the back and front sorted, just need something in the middle. Hmmmm, Lambo doors.... Thanks again Pete
  5. I got these.... The book is really interesting and also a bit scary when you see the early designs of the 350Z. It was very nearly fugly!!! And for some unknown reason, I got a Tangerine Jelly Belly and Orange Tango air freshner
  6. Or use a stronger dose of Rohipnol next time.....
  7. I've had a word with Angie and she's happy to muck in and play Mrs Keyser as she'll be on site anyway. I also gave Nicole a call and she's struggling for work now the X Factor has finished, so it's a thumbs up from her to play Mrs Buster. And as Dave said - come move closer to the midlands!
  8. Well, I've had a few emails back from Hollywood..... Brad Pitt and Jack Black are "Well up for it", they will however like to do as much research as possible and would like to 'get a feel' for their respective roles, which means they'd both like to come stay with you guys at The Zed Shed and get their hands dirty. Not sure how Mrs Keyser feels about having Pitt and Black come stay for a while Oh, I'm afraid Brad would bring his missus with him too Krispy Kreme have said they'd be happy to supply a limitless stream of doughnuts, as long as they can have some strategic product placement during some scenes. And Mark Hamill has been in touch and has asked if he can play the other supporting role. Apparently he'd love the chance to play another character called Luke.....
  9. Camera + tripod + 10sec selftimer + cheeky pose with spoiler = win Just make sure it's not windy if you do this. Here's how my recent attempt at this panned out. Camera + tripod + 10sec selftimer + wind = broken camera
  10. This has got all the key ingredients of a classic Christmas movie, one that's shown every year without fail. It contains distress and even a death. You get to mourn the the loss of a good, honest hard working engine and then, whilst fighting back the tears of such a tragic loss, BAM! you're kicked again when it's replacement doesn't turn up But, what's this, there is light at the end of this dark tunnel in the shape of doughnuts, maybe all is not lost. Then the engine arrives and is fitted! Hoorah! There are tears of joy, not sadness and Luke drives off into the sunset being waved off by The Zed Shed crew (OK, I appreciate at 8pm on a December evening, the sunset had long since gone). Dear Mr Speilberg, I have an idea for a screenplay.......
  11. I think he means the inverted 'cup' which isn't actually for the bonnet stay - it's for the bonnet alarm switch, it depresses the rubber-booted switch that's by the brake fluid and washer bottles. Not that it helps now, but there's a 'hole' in the underside of the bonnet with an arrow pointing to it, which is meant for the bonnet stay/rod. Forgive me if i've totally got the wrong end of the stick/rod (literally). I'm off to look for a pic......
  12. Hello and Do post some pics up Do not put normal unleaded in it Do get yourself along to a meet Do not tell the other half how much all the stuff you've suddenly started to buy for your car really costs....
  13. No, I've never experienced that problem. But I've never met your family or your wife
  14. Eh? He said he'd bought a blue one to the forum David
  15. Good spot! I was doing done embroidery on a haystack and dropped my needle. Couldn't give me a hand could ya?
  16. Do tell mate, we are a considerate bunch of good listeners EPIC TYPO!! I meant to say "I have no issues". Well, not with the car anyway....
  17. Try Kumho Ecsta. I've just picked a pair of brand new tyres up for the rear (275/35-19) for just over £200 delivered (was a special offer though). With the new EU tyre labelling rules, most of the 'branded' tyres score a B or C rating for wet grip. The Kumho are rated as 'A'. The ydo get good reviews for a 'budget' tyre too.

  21. Isn't "not drunk" and "sober" the same thing?
  22. Funny you should say that Ad, especially as its the same colour as mine too. I received a text from my mate no so long ago, and the conversation went something like this: Why aren't you at work? I am. No you're not, I've just seen you on the ring road. Wasn't me mate. Looked like your car. At this point I quickly go check to see that my car was still in the office car park!
  23. Hello and to the forum Nigel. Get along to a meet if you can, you'll pick up a lot more there. Especially from some of those south coast chaps....
  24. Does anyone know where I can buy a longer dipstick? The one I've currently got doesn't reach the oil....
