  1. Hi guys, I want to remove my seats to give them and the interior a spruce up. I have the heated electric GT seats and (with the airbags in mind) will disconnect the battery before unplugging everything. Obviously this means I won't be able to adjust the seats once this is done. I'll slide the seats folly forward and backwards to remove the 4 mounting bolts first, but, is there a seat/tilt position which makes the seats easier to pull out the car? i.e. tilted fully forward? Cheers in advance, Ian

  8. Hello and Ever increasing number of us in the West Mids, so keep an eye on the regional meets thread and get along to a meet soon. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/78-west-midlands/ (Note to self: Organise a meet soon).
  9. We don't talk about that Charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. Thank God for that false floor in the cubby behind the passenger seat....
  10. Hopefully see you and your new latest Zed at a few West Mids meets this year then
  11. Fairy dust and magic Yeah, it just holds itself in place and can actually stop the carpet from moving about. It's main function is to stop prying eyes seeing what you're carrying in the boot. If a heavy unsecured object was to hit it (say under braking), then it may pop out as it's not permanently fixed in place like the OEM ones. Mine has never moved, but the heaviest thing I've carried is a few bags of shopping.
  12. Not sure how many people are in your office, but these phrases should exclude you from any future conversations: "Eat too much over Christmas did we"? (Whilst pointing at their waistline). "That eye shadow really doesn't suit you" "Did you get your hair done at the weekend? No? You should of done". "I don't think that's your colour is it really"? "Did you see the new series of Dancing on Ice? I didn't as the paint I was watching was still drying" And if all else fails.... "Hey, let's talk about cars"
  13. That snowflake mod was a bit of a shocker when scrolling down the page Nice car Mike
  14. OK, more trade secrets now..... Cover the Z, cover the 2 halves of the divider, but don't glue them together yet then measure where you'll like to put the Z. Reverse these measurements onto the BACK of one of the divider halves and draw round the Z (reversed). You can then screw the Z to the front of the divider from the back and in turn, pulling it in tight to the carpet. A few pilot holes for your screws will help

    Which lip?

I've got the Tarmac Sportz Mismo lip. I had it fitted to my car without any other mods (bodywork wise) and it did look a bit naff if I'm honest as on its own, its a fat lip, but once I fitted side skirts etc the world started spinning on its correct axis again. For 99 squid, it's a bargain. But it depends on what else you've got planned. If its just a lip you're after, go for something subtle.
  16. Course you can dearest Can I also have a pair at £65 and Amy pay for them when she gets her rear bumper?
  17. Waiiiiiit!! Isn't WV2 silverstone grey and then gunmetal was brought in later? I'm probably wrong! But I'm sure I read it somewhere haha WV2 is Gunmetal Grey, but Silverstone in the US. You're getting confused with Twilight Grey that was introduced in 2007. Whatever you call it, WV2 is the best/fastest/most desirable/coolest colour
  18. Looks good Cover the 'Z' first with orange before mounting it to the divider
  19. Me..... Olly, looks black in the pic. You very nearly didn't get orange stickers.....
  20. Hello and Billy. Arran's pretty much nailed it, but there are some other points to look for in the buyers guides here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/
  21. Oh and Ben, you've clearly been spending far too much time on the American sites - It's Gunmetal, not Silverstone
  22. +1 on this. They are flexible (not like fibreglass) and so easy to fit - I did mine myself! (Left the painting to the professionals though)
  23. +1 Be sorry to see you sell your Zed Ben. It's a cracking car and a steal at that price.
  24. Whoa, that's wierd When I look at this thread on my iPhone, Chrirag's pics are upside down, but on my laptop, they're the right way up! And has anyone fitted a set that DOESN'T have a black car???
