  1. Well, I FINALLY fitted mine. Was it easy, hell NO! Nothing to do with Chris's reflectors - they're great, more to do with 98,000 miloes and 9 years of cr*p and corrosion building up on each of the bolts I needed to undo to get the bumper off. Combine this with the limited space, rounded heads, sheared off bolts, rain, blown fuses and Nissan's 'secret' third fuse box tucked away under the windscreen, plus freezing cold fingers and grazed knuckles a simple job turned into a 3 day nightmare. But anyway, after finally completing the install (I extended the wires a bit and added some male/female bullet connectors to make removing the bumper easier in future and also changing the sidelights for LEDs) I thought I'd go take some night shots in the peeing rain and howling wind. Had my nightmare finished and was I now able to stand back and admire my new LED reflectors. Yes. Right up until the wind blew over my camera on its tripod and broke it (the camera). The above were the last two photographs my camera ever took
  2. And as a fellow Zedder, you've not knocked on the door to say "Hi" or even left a forum flyer under the wiper? Shame on you Vlad. Shame on you....
  3. Does look a nice example though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-NISSAN-350Z-GRAN-TURISMO-4-YELLOW-MINT-1-LADY-OWNER-1-OF-76-IN-THE-WORLD/261352758911?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D19061%26meid%3D3396295385419188615%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D8647%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D190994608972%26

Hope you find your way home soon Rob. Take the sat nav next time ;P
  6. Just to be clear THAT WAS A JOKE!!! DO NOT put WD40 on your brakes!
  7. Just cover your discs in WD40 before leaving your car to stand over winter. My mate did this and his discs never went rusty. Thinking about it, I never saw or heard from him again after he took his car out in the spring for it's first run, up that scenic cliff top coastal road.... :
  8. Does look great on a Zed, but don't think the local constabulary will agree
  9. Yeah I know. I wasn't suggesting you tried to join his trip (he's flying over), but thought he might be able to give you some info on the factory visits
  10. Choptop has a trip planned next year to Bologna to visit the factories, might be worth dropping him a PM
  11. I think you could/should definitely include a visit to the supercar factories (and also Ducati) in Bologna as you'll be in northern Italy Matt. Will you also be recruiting a team of glamour models to party with us each night like the Pure Rally?
  12. Loads of different (and interesting) ways of doing this - I was watching the videos on YouTube the oother day. Many use toothpaste, some use sandpaper followed by a coat of lacquer, others just use abrasive polish/cutting compound finished with a coat of wax. Or you can buy the stuff suggested above
  13. Cheers Brillo. Yeah, I did this, although I didn't have an OEM back box, mine was the Japspeed K2 (so very similar in design), it didn't make the difference I was after. The OEM mid-pipe is 2.25 inch in diameter and I replaced it with a 3 inch diameter straight through pipe (no mid-section silencer). It DID give a nicer, deeper sound, but if you want more volume (i.e. an exhaust that turns heads as you're approaching), it's not worth trying to acheive it this way. Put the money towards something else (I bought a K1 shortly after trying my mid-pipe experiment). The actual volume/sound is governed a lot by the construction and design of the back box. As the OEM back box (and K2) is a cambered design, the 'sound' has to face a lot of obstruction before it reaches daylight. A performance back box (such as the Cobra), is less restrictive, allowing the gases and sound to travel more freely.

I reckon you should leave it like that Bizz. Just mount a large pair of round headlights and a radiator to the front. 1950's Hot Rod stylee
  15. Cheers Don, you're on the list. I'll drop you a PM soon.
  16. Wow! Seriously impressive stuff. Was the grey your first colour choice Dave, or was that actually Plan B? I love the R35 GTR.... And to save anyone else searching, here's a link http://www.pwpro.co.uk/cars/
  17. Looks awesome Dave. Can't wait to see it
  18. Yeah. There not common like Sunset's!! I think Bronzee was just checking to see if Ben wasn't seeing double

We'll sort it Sunday mate. I think there are a lot of people awaiting your build thread
  21. Quickest and easiest is by Photobucket. File size doesn't really matter then, you just need to copy the IMG code into your post. I find it's even easier to use if the photos are on my phone and I'm using the PB app.
  22. Wow, that KTM looks cool! I wouldn't mind one myself (and I've got a full licence and currently ride a GSX-R750)
