  1. Added you onto the list Got all the bulbs today aside from dome lights and vanity bulbs Need to wait on those sadly.
  2. Brill, thanks for the update guys. SET1 - With Lambo Posting to mike 89 SET2 - With bakseedaa Posting to Thor31 SET3 - With apcarter Posting to Chubster SET4 - With GIXXERUK @Chubster, he works in the armed forces of some variety I believe so may not always have access to the net.
  3. I never found the need to use anything special on my gloss roof wrap. I just wash it with regular shampoo, wax it with whatever wax im using and then use QD as a finish. As long as the wax is decent (not something like turtlewax) you wouldn't have issues leaving white marks on plastic (or vinyl for the matter)
  4. @mike89, Can you PM Lambo please, he should have the last spare set at the moment And no worries about the Disks SET1 - With Lambo Posting to mike 89 SET2 - With bakseedaa Posting to Thor31 SET3 - With apcarter Posting to Chubster SET4 - With 370Mike Posting to GIXXERUK When any of you get the Disks, let us know and also how you get on so others can see when they become free.
  5. Fluke, I did it in my driveway. You really don't get much smoke out the rear until you nail the pedal, there is smoke yes, but not terrible. Id give it some beans somewhere else though first, as I say with mine the first time I floored it I almost stalled because of the cloud coming out of the rear, I did this down my road too
  6. The price begins with a 1 Alex. Sadly, as I speculated a month orso ago, its too much. Stupidly bat$@*!# crazy fast and id love one. But its as expensive as some exotic cars and I don't care if they're not as fast, id rather be rolling around in a lambo or a Ferrari than a GTR of the same cost.
  7. @Thor31 - Can you please PM either Lambo or bakseedaa, they have 1 disk set each, however please let us know who will be sending your their disks so I can update the list above so we all know who has them.
  8. One way around it, obviously on private property such as car parks you don't have to have any registration on at all. Unless its a council owned one as its a public car park then and not private land. Things like shopping centres, meets like Japfest etc would be good examples.
  9. This sadly is why I wont ever change my plate. If mr plod is in a bad mood they can give you the above fine (or even more, upto £1000) for the slightest thing and there's NOTHING you can do about it as its in black and white, number plate laws are some of the best written construction and use laws in existence, they leave absolutely no wiggle room for what is legal or what is not. http://www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg/groups/dg_digitalassets/@dg/@en/@motor/documents/digitalasset/dg_067666.pdf Keep the correct plate size, fitted in the approved mounting location, correct font size, correct font colour, correct font, correct spacing of letters and no silly logos where the country/E.U flag should be and you will be fine. That £130 (100 fine and around 30 for the plates) could have been spent on a much better mod I must admit, I was tempted too and im sure 99% of the time you get off with a warning, but it just isn't worth the hassle. Sucks to hear you were fined though, but least its a lesson learnt. Sidenote: Some of the construction and use laws are outdated and bizarrely seem to be ignored. One regarding petrol tanks says that to be road legal, the container must be "made only of metal", I can think of several cars that break that rule.
  10. Sometimes you are correct mate! I think on very high mileage/classic car type engines I wouldn't chance it, but even on my 120k celica that hadnt ever been looked after till i got it, it did a very good job and cured my oil burning issue! Il try it on the zed, but probably not till next year what with Christmas/saving for a house/saving for a PS4 coming up
  11. Yeah, looks like too much power, jumped the kerb (look at the rear when) into probably a grass verge and ended up reversed into a post or some sort. RIP zeddy.
  12. Lol, the air con "exhaust" is over on the passenger side though
  13. GLWTS, love the engrish translation on the eBay link!
  14. Mine too, decent box actually, not too sure/would have preferred not to get two glaze's in one box, but hey ho! Plus, one smells like toothpaste No golden ticket or runner up wax pot for me though
  15. Seafoam is a entire engine cleaner. You get a can, put 1/3 in petrol to clean fuel injection system, 1/3 in oil to clean oil lines/channels and 1/3 you use a vacuum hose that feeds all cylinders which takes it into the pistons cleaning that out. When you're done you leave the engine off for 15 mins, then go and fire it up, and this happens. The amount of smoke that came out the back of my Celica when I did it was astonishing. You are advised to drive enthusiastically to get rid of the freed deposits of crap, but the first time I put my foot down the car almost stalled with a huge cloud coming out of the rear. It picked up immediately and smoked for about 15 mins of driving which is normal. I did have a small oil burning issue on that car, seafoam stopped it completely. I guess something had gummed up in the engine somewhere allowing a little oil to get burnt and the seafoam cleaned it all off. I need to do it on the 350 really. You don't have to put the can in the oil either, Seafoam say you don't have to change the oil afterwards, I found you do, as did many others as it thins the oil slightly. It can clog up your spark plugs too if your engine is in a really bad state. As I say, it was fine on the celica, that had done 120,000 miles and was burning oil for at least 15,000 of those, spark plugs survived fine. Heres a guy who has documented the process on his LS1 engine http://ls1tech.com/forums/general-maintenance-repairs/534376-how-seafoam-your-car.html
  16. Neetan & 14N - Just wanted to give you guys a little update, all the LED's came in last week and I soldered them all up, im just still waiting on the reflector units from USA to arrive, they were ordered when I said they were in the PM's, but they normally take 7-10 days to arrive, just hope they do before the whether really turns
  17. Not that ive seen mate. To be fair, the inside of the light units aren't really pretty so to speak so frosted is the best option! Just missed out on the reflectors... my timings all off... Luckily the timings on my car are spot on! Does any one do any after market interior lights fittings? I don't like the frosted plastic ones in the 350z. Not sure how I'd improve them though.
  18. All noted down on the spredsheet, il drop you all messages one this first lot is done/I have more stock, don't want to get confused with anything and mess up orders
  19. So, little update so we can keep track SET1 - With Lambo SET2 - With bakseedaa SET3 - With apcarter Posting to Chubster SET4 - With 370Mike Posting to GIXXERUK
  20. I always like to use Seafoam! not used it in the Zed yet though.
  21. This. Don't take out a loan to pay anyone back, its a black hole, don't lower your payments to your family as its very easy to fall out over cash. Stop spending on mods and just pay the car off, then mod if you like, its what im having to do. Loads of things I want, but Christmas, and saving for a house comes first, sadly all I can afford to do it service, tax, tyre switch etc, not exactly mods.
  22. Oh noes! il send you one now, sorry!
