  1. I hope this isn't a , but a friend linked me this from the Lancer Register forum, and looks like its gone viral http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=429641 In a nutshell: Someone had posted about a friends' tool van getting broken into > the guy who did it boasts about it on the same thread > Hes so stupid he leaves his personal details for all to see and now everyone knows full name, address, mobile phone number, email address, Facebook profile etc > he's now getting bombarded with abuse! Local news report of the abuse he has been getting as well: http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/Thief-bombarded-abusive-calls-boasting-Keynsham/story-18461740-detail/story.html#axzz2O1euJxG7 Worth a read, what an idiot Hope he gets what he deserves.
  2. When i glanced at this photo I thought that you had a 3 foot long aerial at first
  3. Hi all, I have a perfect 2004 airbox in the garage, fancy having a go with a Popcharger/Takeda or similar this summer... Anyone want to swap with me? It has an OEM filter in it in good condition as well. I am happy to include a bit of money your way as well What you see in the picture is what you get, so if you haven't already got the intake pipe as well you will need to get that from someone like ZManAlex. Thanks J
  4. After reading the description, I want one. Even though I don't own a VAG car haha
  5. Just seen this, cheers Dave I was looking at possible new cars about a month ago, but this place and people like ZManAlex made me decide to keep the Zed (and upgrade the brakes!) I hope you had a fun night with someone on Thursday anyway Dave, there were plenty of offers at least...
  6. Went out to the Evo Triangle by Betws Y Coed recently, took my camera and got these; first couple were taken with a 10 Stop ND filter and exposure times of 5 minutes each: Lakes by jjt2388, on Flickr Lakes-2 by jjt2388, on Flickr Here are a few more 'standard' shots from that afternoonLakes-3 by jjt2388, on FlickrLakes-4 by jjt2388, on FlickrLakes-6 by jjt2388, on Flickr Only a couple, as I quickly decided that i'd rather be driving the amazing roads than taking pictures!

    Braided line routing

Some HEL kits (like mine) don't come with any at all, and the fronts need two on each side to do a proper job according to my mechanic friend.
  9. OP, this is my PURPLE HKS one...
  10. I thought that it made the idle smoother on mine, as well as the xenons noticeably brighter. or maybe its all in my head

    Braided line routing

6.4mm was recommended by the motorsport advisor at Tweeks. My mechanic seemed to think they were a perfect fit. As Darren stated, it really isnt worth cheaping out on this; i paid about £8 for 10 and they are a motorsport product, so hopefully will be adequate. Zip ties did cross my mind though...

    Braided line routing

I had a nightmare trying to keep them all tidy and not fouling on the wheel/disc/suspension components with the supplied extras... .in the end went down to Demon Tweeks (which is thankfully local) and got these: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/hose-clips/automec-rubber-lined-p-clips And now i know that they are safe. Pretty poor that the lines didn't come with these... Hope this helps
  13. Love this! I would be exactly the same!
  14. Gliptone liquid leather cleaner and conditioner; did an amazing job on mine
  15. Im running Federal 595 RSR tyres and (in the dry at least !) Im really impressed with the performance, and pretty cheap too.
  16. I highly recommend everything I used in my thread linked below, especially the Z8 and Prima Amigo http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62827-sunset-detail-after-pics/
  17. When I use the Dodo Juice stuff, I use the foam applicator to apply, but a microfibre cloth to buff off; not saying thats the correct way to do it, but it always looks good for me
  18. I know that there are a few threads about this and I have read all of them, but... Does anyone have any good bedding in experience with these pads? EBC say: "Best procedure is to drive gently avoiding harsh braking unless in an emergency for first 100 miles. In the second 100 miles (up to 200) you can use gently increasing brake pressures when using the brakes. Only after 200 miles urban driving (not 200 miles on a freeway where brakes are almost unused) should you attempt to apply heavy load and heat to the brakes. To do this final bedding on a QUIET ROAD in safe traffic apply the brakes and slow from 60 to 10 MPH five times in a row. Then drive slowly for a few minutes if safe to do so to allow the brakes to cool. Try to avoid coming to a rest whilst the brakes are heated. A smell may be noticed from the warm brakes, this is normal. Repeat this procedure a second time after the brakes have TOTALLY cooled down. EBC pads get better with miles. Even after this bed in procedure it can take up to 1500 miles before the pads are at their best. In the meantime the pads will be good and safe but true potential not realised". I would much prefer to do ZManAlex's recommended procedure, and that is more than likely what I end up doing! (This can be found here: http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=18649 ) Just wondering if anyone has any good (or bad) experiences with this pad Cheers
