  2. Hi all, Just a couple of pics following a detail I did last week. Process followed was: Wash (Autoglym) Clay (SmartClay, with Smart Detail as a lubricant) Wash again Prima Amigo Glaze Dodo Juice Orange Crush Wax Zaino Z8 Sealant Autoglym FastGlass on windows Turtle Wax Trade brush-on tyre dressing Really pleased with the results; although they don't really show up the detailing work done... Cheers Jonathan
  3. Im booked onto a Novice Taster session on the 18th of this month; £25 for 20mins track time. Thought it would be a good introduction to it all!
  4. There are several great guides on here that I followed in this post viewtopic.php?f=35&t=58538 Because its not a simple plug and play I wouldn't have thought halfords would be capable! I am useless as well, but I managed
  5. Yes Dave, it does. I think to alter it you have to first select 'av off' then go into the settings. One of the main reasons I opted for JVC

    Bug remover

+1 for anything that won't remove itself from the paintwork easily, it's great stuff.
  15. +1 - NEVER a chamois. This microfibre towel is the best i've found http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kent-Q6100-Extr ... 796&sr=8-1
  16. I wish he was trusting enough to let me drive it... I was merely a passenger, which is probably more terrifying than being in control ha
  17. I was talking to a friends dad at her birthday about a year ago, and he told me he had something very special on order from Italy... got a call last week asking if I wanted to go for a spin! Performance was out of this world, with the manettino set to anything other than race it was quiet at low revs, but once in race the noise was incredible all the way to 10k rpm. Relentless pace even in higher gears, carbon ceramic brakes shrugged off speed at an unbelievable rate. Left me feeling a bit hollow inside to be honest knowing il probably never own one
  18. ...Go for a spin in one of these! Actually felt like my car had the handbrake on driving home. The Ferrari 458 is an amazing machine.
  19. Good comprehensive, honest write up. GLWTS
