  1. I've had a few driving experiences including rally, Ferrari, single seater, etc. Like others I recommend the single seater experience. If you have the money I can highly recommend the Johnathan Palmer days/half days. I was invited by a company so didn't cost me anything. You get to drive numerous cars including single seaters, it was where I was introduced to the 350 !
  2. I am interested to hear how you get on. I am sure there was a previous post where somebody recommended the car hood warehouse in Chessington. Maybe they will match the other quote ?
  3. I have had spinning bikes, etc. As mentioned previously, I recommend getting a real bike and use it on the open road as much as possible. You can get a turbo trainer for wet and cold nights but you'll probably get bored. I find joining a spinning class at least once a week is best as at least you get some miles under the belt every week then anything else on the road is a bonus.
  4. As stated before - talk to an unbiased friend. And always remember there are lots of people out there in far worse circumstances.
  5. Like others I recommend Raffles for a Singapore sling. I think it's a good idea to take the tourist bus around Singapore, you will then see all of the main sites and then you can decide where you want to spend more time. I loved China town and the street food.
  6. Hi Dazzer, I live near Chinnor, so not a million miles away from you. I can recommend Horsham development, just down the A34 from Oxford. It's a great drive across country. Their URL is http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=home Steve
  7. I live just down the road, I think that's where the owner lives as I see it there every time I go for a run through Chinnor.
  8. Hiya, I'm fairly close to Oxford so either courier or pickup/fitting are options. Cheers
  9. Hi, My exhaust has started blowing....... Does anybody have a standard back box and mid pipe exhaust, in good condition, they wish to sell ? Please PM me. Thanks, Steve
  10. Agree, gunmetal and tan leather is a great combination. I have this combo on a 56 plate.
  11. Last year I bought a badger hair brush and haven't looked back. In my opinion you get a better shave and it costs much less than buying shaving foam. I also like the smell of the traditional sandal wood shaving soap !
  12. It's been a while since I have been there....must go on the old cable trams, I generally enjoyed the area around the Piers, as already mentioned Alcatraz is worth a visit. Great clam chowder from the stalls around the pier. It's my favourite city in the US. Enjoy !
  13. Will stormsure do the job ? It's worth taking a look at the YouTube adverts. I have used it on my roof and so far so good. It sounds as though others have used it too. You could put a layer on the inside that will waterproof it.
  14. Hi to everybody, bought a 2006 roadster about a month ago, loving the car. Great forum with lots of good tips. Btw, I had some splitting in the soft top and appear to have fixed them with stormsure, this includes the 'standard' cloth tearing near the door handle where there is a metal strut. I'll post some pics soon. If it holds up as well as advertised I may have saved a grand for a new top. Happy to share any hints for the repairs. Cheers Steve
