  1. LOL somewhat reminds me of my GTR breaking thread a decade ago, had so many nice parts on it, they just went immediately. Good luck with it Darren and I look forward to seeing your new car next year at some shows!
  2. Indeed, originally built and owned by Mike Feeney (Mr.F) of MJP Eastern Auto and one of the zClub committee and more recently owned by one Mr Steve Burns, the zClub treasurer. She has had 2 or 3 're-vamps' since Mike originally built her, but sadly the tin-worm has got in there again over the last couple of years, so it's time for another.
  3. No idea, but the stock 280zx turbo was said to run 180ish. This is a janspeed, so runs higher boost and other supporting mods. I'll get it dyno'd one day, as it's a lot quicker than we expected it to be. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Rose and I picked up this iconic, kaminari kitted, janspeed turbo'd 280zx this weekend. You may recognise the colour as it's azure blue Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2

    E46 m3

Estoril blue was just clubsports on the E46 chassis and just M3 Evos on E36. I have an E46 clubsport I'm now selling, in estoril blue Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Was driving home in the bmw daily and spotted you a mile away! Bright yellow, turned off at Castleford. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I'm not sure if I'm more disturbed by the fact there are people this dumb out there, or the fact there are people out there who take advantage of these poor morons. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Fitting the kit that equips you to change the geometry to a car that didn't previously have it however, would have to be declared. A modification that needs to be declared, needs to be a physical addition, or subtraction. So for example, removing ABS from a vehicle that has it, is a modification, because you've removed something, which changes the performance of the vehicle when stopping. Adding Camber arms or traction rods, strut braces, coilover suspension, uprated springs, uprated callipers etc. are all considered modifications that drastically change the performance of the vehicle and also add to the cost of a claim for the insurance company. In contrast, things like performance brake pads, performance brake fluid, octane booster, etc. are considered consumables and therefore not declarable. Nitrous Oxide is not declarable either, but fitting the equipment to allow it to be injected, to a vehicle that didn't have it before, is.
  9. You don't work in insurance, in Doncaster do you? lol
  10. I checked my oil the night before japfsst and left my dipstick on the side in the garage. Then drove from yorkshire to wiltshire, round castle combe track, over to dorking in surrey and then back to yorkshire, lost less than half a litre lol. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  11. General rule of thumb is: if it enhances your performance in any way, both stopping and going that is too, or if it significantly changes the appearance of an aspect of the car, i.e. bumper, skirts, etc. And especially if you plan to be claiming for a replacement, they need to know about it. On the other hand, if it does none of the above, there's no reason to tell them and it won't void your insurance. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Less than a bottle of coke! Not saying that's a good thing mind.
  13. I just got an S4 after having the S3 previously. Only had the phone a day so far, but it rocks and the battery is @*!# loads better than the S3 was so far. Can't have a crapple. Disagree with the companies ethics, or lack of, too much for one, but also their stuff is other peoples stuff, made shiny and priced higher, always has been. There is a free version of tapatalk on android i think or theres the one that costs hardly a fiver. Best app out there for forums on a phone. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  14. Very tidy. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Lost you? It was the predecessor to the 350z. A 280bhp, RWD, 3litre twin turbo coupe. Sorry if you knew that, but otherwise I'm not sure what you mean by lost you.
  16. We only came home in 2010, after we started finding it hard to get work when the recession hit. Only spent 6 months in Whangarei and Waitakere. The other places were just over a year each I believe. We started moving further south for work, as there isn't a great deal of IT/Programming work north of Auckland lol.
  17. Interesting info. I think the debt collector was talking about partial debt payment as opposed to full payment of the debt, i.e. if I offered to pay part of the debt, he had to accept it, provided it was 'legal tender'. Considering the phrase 'legal tender' appears to only apply, if you're using the denomination that corresponds to the amounts above, provided you're paying part of the debt that's small enough, the payment must be accepted? In theory, that can be applied to paying any debt, in part, whether the creditor likes it or not?
  18. Welcome. Watch out for Zeditis, it gets us all in the end.
  19. Looks like a cool project. We all know Gunmetal is the fastest colour
  20. Started in Paihia, Whangarei, North Shore, Waitakere and finished up in Rodney Tour of the North part of the North Island over the course of 5 years, lol My son was born in Kawakawa, so has dual nationality.
  21. Stupid thing is, as many of the comments indicate on the video, I believe AU has a law against paying fines over $35 in coins, which sort of kills it for him. To my knowledge we have no such law here. I was once told by a debt collector when I was very young, that the best way to get him, or any other debt collector off my back, was to offer them 5pence. The reason being, that our law in the UK, states that if someone attempts to make payment with a silver coin, with the queens head minted into it, it's actually a crime to refuse it, regardless the size of the debt.
  22. Welcome. Considering a 400bhp 300zx, which weighs considerably more than a Focus and is RWD, starts getting very difficult to get the powder down, I'd imagine that much power in a Focus must be impossible to drive fast? I'm also intrigued as to how the hell you tweak that much power from that engine. To get 400bhp from the 300zx 3 litre Twin Turbo, you need exhausts, intercoolers, boost turned up, run more fuel, induction, a new clutch to cope with the power, the list goes on! Hell, you need most of that to get that much power from a GTR RB26 DETT engine!
  23. Possibly, but it didn't have a 3 litre V6
