  1. Sorry I've been a bit silent on this guys, I've been busy this last week or so and we've had power issues the last few days. I'll sort out a list as quick as I can and post it up.
  2. I will get round to doing a list of those confirmed, probably this weekend.
  3. A stand, can get you just entry if you like though. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  4. I'll have to get a list drawn up and re-contact everyone to confirm, as this is getting close to the deadline now. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  5. At the moment about 8, you make 9. Hasn't been opened up to zclub yet though, as there was a delay talking to them about it. I'd guess we can probably pull 20 - 30 cars between clubs, provided people show their interest in time. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  6. I don't want to step on anyones toes, so if you guys are looking at organizing your own stand, just tell me to butt out, but we (ZXClub.net) will be organizing a stand for Trax 2013 and we'd like to extend an invitation to you guys if you'd like to come? Prices are: £16 Ticket - £5 saving on the gate, plus postage fee if you need the ticket before the show, else this time we'll all meet at services before hand and distribute in person £30 track time session - Not sure yet how many are interested in track time, so this may have to be a 'book your own' again like Japfest 2, but if enough are interested, we'll sort it through the club, so that we only pay one booking fee instead of everyone paying their own. Potential to book a 40 car Z only slot, but it costs £950 (£23.50 per car) and would require a full roster of people wanting track time. Let me know if you guys would like to join us or not, we'd be very happy to have you Ok, so it looks like we have 11 Confirmed from here and zxclub.net (12 cars as CeeJay is bringing 2). Please confirm you can come and that the details are correct. 1) Mr & Mrs HollowPoint - 2 Tickets - 1 Pass - 300ZX - Tracktime - PAID 2) JohnyBoy - 1 Ticket - 1 Pass - 300ZX Vert 3) Tonyb - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 300ZX (will see about going on the track with it cos I'll have all my clobber for a week at work in it) 4) JanH - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 300ZX 5) CeeJay - 2 Tickets - 2 Car Passes - 300ZX's PAID 6) Darren - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z 7) Mike46 - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z - PAID 8) Deklan - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z 9) Darren-B - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z - Tracktime 10) andy james - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z - Tracktime - PAID 11) DannyG - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - 350z - Tracktime - Can't make it 12) MarkDerby - 1 Ticket - 1 Car - PAID 13) Artztogo - 1 Ticket - 1 Car Pass - PAID 14) Candy Red - 2 Tickets - 1 Car Pass - 280zx
  7. Glad to meet you guys today, was an awesome day, perfect weather (Although I think most of us got burnt) and a great stand at the show, awesome!
  8. You can lead the way then in the morning, as I don't much fancy a full valet being needed as soon as I get in the showground, spent the whole day cleaning the damn thing!
  9. I'd remind them that they are public SERVANTS next time. That's well out of order. Bet you get a slip through on Monday morning. When you do, I'd write a letter of complaint, naming them!
  10. That's a SERIOUSLY nice car there mate. Good luck with it, just wish I could justify it.
  11. we'll be leaving the services around 7, waiting for people like yourself
  12. It'll be the zxclub stand I think, but yes. If you're coming around 7, why not meet us all at the services so we can all come in together. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  13. You can and that's the most common way of doing it, I usually cut plenty of spare wire for the connector though, just in case you ever want to put it back to standard for any reason.
  14. Yes and no really, as the more of us that have our own tickets on us, the easier it will all be. If I only have to pick up 5 tickets in the end, that's quick, if I have to pick up 10 or more, they will start wanting to see lists of people and knowing who was supposed to be coming, etc. etc. and it could just drag the whole thing out. If the sorting office doesn't have your ticket, that's one thing, if they have it, I'd appreciate you collecting it, just to make life easier tomorrow morning for everyone.
  15. Glad you got your ticket. I'd agree with your large organisations statement, if it weren't for the fact that they're doing two different things, in some cases they're dropping deficit notices, in other cases they're sending them off to Ireland.
  16. Yeah no problem. I've been speaking to Derek from zClub and he said he experienced the same thing a while back sending out stuff to zClub members in A4 envelopes. Apparently, you have to buy a 1st class 'Large' stamp, which of course they don't sell in books. It's only about 10p more expensive too. He said that many of his did turn up eventually, but they took quite some time to be returned in many cases with the postage deficit notice. He also said rather worryingly, that some of them will simply be returned to sender if there is an address on the envelopes. There was no address on these envelopes, which apparently means they then get sent to Northern Ireland, where someone opens the letter (Thought that was illegal) and tries to determine the sender from the contents, I guess that's going to mean Japfest organizers receiving a bunch of tickets back in a few months time when they've done the round trip. This should not be necessary of course, it should be perfectly easy to put out a deficit notice and allow the person to still receive their mail, but some people are just bitter and evil I guess. Seems to me it'll cost a lot more to send a letter over to Ireland, pay someone to open it, then send it all the way back to the sender, than it will to drop a deficit notice through the door of the receiver and actually manage to receive the amount that it's short on postage, but I guess this is what unionised public service is all about now, costing more money than it needs to, just for the f*** of it.
  17. If you have a gazebo that could be grand mate, as looks like it's gunna be hot!
  18. Donnington services are off the motorway, so doesn't matter if you're headed north or south. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  19. Potentially yes. You have my phone number now though. So if you can't make it down in time to join us on the way in, just call me when you arrive and I'll come find you. I can always grab your ticket for you and simply explain you are arriving late, without your car, then you ring me and I bring your ticket to the gate. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  20. That'll be the 10p they've decided is owed on postage and a 99p 'handling fee' I guess. I really can't express the rage I'm feeling towards royal mail right now. Think in future, I'm going to charge everyone a bit more for postage and send everything out recorded delivery. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  21. We were planning on leaving around 6:15, but considering the circumstances, I think we should wait around until about 7, for anyone who can't get there that early. That way we're all together, or near enough at least and shouldn't have any issues getting in, as I can be there as the person who did the booking. sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  22. We're meeting at the donnington park services at 6am mate. In case anyone gets stuck on sunday morning. My mobile number is 07734 800778 sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk
  23. Ok guys, a little relief. Japfest have got in touch and have agreed to leave some tickets on the gate for us. Obviously you won't be able to bring any more people than you originally had on your ticket order, as they will be verifying who we are, but essentially there should be no issue getting into the show. The guy in the sales team has even given me his mobile number to ring him on Sunday morning if we do get any problems at the gate for any reason. Thankfully, as we are arriving early with the convoys, we should have plenty of time to sort out any niggles or arguments, should they occur.
  24. Oh I knew you weren't complaining mate, if you were I wouldn't have blamed you though. I'm even more angry now, that the post office would hold a letter back for the sake of 10 pence!!!! Just for my own curiosity, you say it had the wrong address on it too? How wrong was the address? Wrong house number? Name? Road name? lol If you could pm me your address, I can compare it to the one you sent me on Paypal and see if I'm just losing my mind or something
