  1. As a beaten Manc this season I'm enjoying these
  2. No problem at all; I'm quite happy to wait it out.... get some handcreame as well man ouch!
  3. x2 Did have the Civic Diesel though and as long as you get a later one with the clutch issues sorted you'll have a good car. Horribly horribly dull though despite what the owners will tell you. Feels cheap compared to the zed as well.
  4. Why ever not; I assume they'll be a couple of weeks lead time at least so will have the ££s saved up by then
  5. Welcome along! That is indeed a lovely Z
  6. That kit complements your car perfectly. Lovely example!
  7. I don't know of any that far north but if you can be without the car for a few days then http://www.rimfurbish.co.uk/ are top notch. They'll sort collection and redelivery.
  8. Where was the CAT-C? i.e. UK or Japan? If the latter, run to the hills. I've seen some absolutely shocking bodge jobs that have been repaired in the East and sold here.
  9. Thanks for the headsup, I have an MOT this Friday and am pretty sure my backbox is blowing, I'm hoping they can weld it up but 'watched' just in case!
  10. It'll be fine; I've known several cars over the year that have been fresh imports, tuned to japans higher spec fuel and ran on 95ron, they've all survived. I'd never even consider asking about fuel tbh but do run mine on super
  11. Thanks folks, she is a lovely motor. I have a couple of odd tiny dents in the roof (almost look like hailstone damage - but obv not) that I'll be getting sorted. I don't have any too crazy-ish plans for the car just yet but we'll see. Final bits arrived yesterday for phase one: Just got to wait until a week Friday to start fitting. I'll take alot of photos as I know I'm a sucker for build threads and its always nice to look back as well
  12. Great thread and great work, car looks excellent!
  13. I've no doubt. I've done 2x Honda Preludes in the past and everything was rusted to buggery! I'm hoping the Shed will not be too harsh! Pressing out is the easy part, that goes to a yard near my home but the greasing of the new, fitting etc will take a while. It should refresh the suspension nicely though! I'll take alot of photos and try to do a good write up in case anyone else wants to try it.
  14. Hi all, I thought I'd start a thread to keep all my photos and what not in one place. Here's the current Zed, pretty standard apart from the intake, 52k. Anyway, my first batch of toys arrived from the US last week I've got the ES Masterkit, ES Tierod Boots, Goodridge Hoses, Hawk HP+ Pads and Russell Speed Bleed Valves (I'll review these once I've fitted and used them). I've got a set of nearly new BC coilovers on the way along with adjustable control arms so should have a sweet handling, fast stopping zed in a few weeks. All work will be done by myself so expect swearing and blood
  15. If you're tempted have it inspected. I paid about £110 when I bought a CAT-C S2000. It was perfect and I saved a quite a few grand. When I came to sell it, admittedly I got lucky as a guy from Holland bought it. I told him all about UK Cat write-offs but he didn't care. Cat-D is nothing! 95% of owners would have fixed that up themselves and not claimed. As I say, get it inspected. My S2000 came back with a glowing report. The S2000 was NOT £16k though......
