My 2000 JDM S2000 was better on fuel, on the motorway at 80ish it'd be mid to high 30's and never dropped below 25mpg in town.

That's why I liked this forum so much, not many blinkers amongst owners saying the Z is the best. As everyone has said, take them out for a blast. I miss my S2000 massively, having the roof down on a nice day adds a bit more to the experience and it is such a nimble beast! You'll not lose with either car. The 350 definitely has more "wow" factor to it.

Owned both and had a Supra TT as well. To be honest I found the Supra is as dull as dishwater, yes it was quick but it didn't feel involved in anyway shape for form to me. The S2000 is absolutely fabulous, I loved mine and sold it only because I was relocating south and needed extra cash for a bit, I would have another tomorrow. Pro's over the Z - cheaper to run, better mpg, cheaper servicing, lovely 9.5k red line, amazing gearbox. Cons - Noisier, not much torque if you're not in the mood to boot it and can catch you out in the wet if you're not concentrating. The 350z, is also fabulous and more refined than the S2000, in my opinion it handles nowhere near as well due to the weight, but its more civilised, the engine and gearbox beautiful. Pro's - smooth power, lots of torque, quieter, more sophisticated, more lazy. Cons - none for me but mpg is less (well its a 3.5 V6) If I could afford both, I would have both. If you're going to track a lot it then for me, the S2000 is the car, if only doing the occasional one and you need a bit more boot room at the back then 350 just edges it. With either motor, you'll have a great car!

Might be in the minority here but that is one ugly, poorly refined looking car - no doubt it shifts and sounds fabulous but in terms of looks, not for me. Mind I don't like the topless Mustangs regardless

Its the old Apple Mac vs PC debate all over - both get you where you need to, one can be had cheaper and get you there quicker in some instances, the other offers better build quality, resale value, is better at certain things and looks 10x prettier. Horses for courses.

The ES kit only requires the bushes to be pressed out, their kit replaces the shells but having slightly larger bushes than the originals. You have to burn out one of them but off the top of my head I can't remember which one that is sorry. Dave

^ As above, I'm going to order from suspension.com as I have done previously. From experience it is cheaper to order more than one kit and divvy up the tax/shipping. If you're serious I can get in contact with them and see what they can do. I think I've had around 5 kits from them over the last 10 years

Fortunate indeed! I had a similar thing a few years back in the high wind, parked outside mum and dads garage and my brother had said "probably best move it as the weathercock was moving around a bit before" True enough, in the morning the 5/6kg thing was on the ground after a 20' fall off the apex of the roof. Phew!

They were the greatest thing I ever did to my old Prelude's (had 2x that I fully polybushed) I'll be ordering the masterkit (black not red) and the rear arm kit (as I'm sure thats separate). Have a look at suspension.com. There were at least 20 - 30 of using their kits on Preludes & Integras that regularly tracked, all the squeaks, clunks and niggles were eliminated from our cars.

Personally I'm going with the energy suspension bushes, I've had them on numerous tracked Honda's before, saw they did a kit for the 350 at a good price so will give them a punt!

I'd say £4.5 - 5k for a Cat C. My old S2000 was CAT C and pretty perfect but I got it cheap so had to sell it cheap unfortunately.
