well that was indeed a pretty decent race - lots of decent wheel to wheel racing throughout. Maybe they need to bin all this fuel efficiency crap and pit stop strategy crap, and just have three 15 lap sprint races, and actually let drivers race their cars to the best of their abilities. Will be watching the next race, hopefully will be as good as this one - Malaysia was a bit dull.

welcome to the forum! looks like a really clean zed there! yep they're anniversary wheels, I think they only made them for a year or two. seeing as you've already got a stillen exhaust, your first and only task is to get a stubby aerial, then you're good to go!

I can drive down the parade in leamington spa and I don't think I get a second glance... admittedly my zed is drizzle grey and fairly standard, but round here people are far to used to maseratis and Ferraris to care about an 11year old Zed. Although with a cobra exhaust on at least it will sound nice to the people I overtake.

if you're looking to quieten down the cabin 14N on here makes some great vertical boot dividers, which help isolate roadnoise from the tyres. Also get some thicker mats as well, the standard boot one is wafer thin.

get on a us car site (craigslist? greggslist? creggslist???) and see how much a US zed is, as others have said, i'd sell yours here then buy a LHD one in the states, trick it out with some pimp US goodies. Plus if you buy a Californian one it probably wont have seen any salt or rust. If you dont want to sell here, is there anyone here you trust with a long term loan of a zed? a famiy member could look after it for a while for you, either drive it or SORN it and store it, with the usual provisos about long term storage of cars.

you never know, almost 80 = maybe 78 indicated on the speedo? in which case actual speed might be around 74 maybe? you might well get away with it at that speed. If you were doing an indicated 90 then that's probably a ticket, but you might be lucky, fingers crossed!

I dunno, how much of a difference is there between Kumhos and Linglongs? i'd consider both to be on the more affordable end of the spectrum to be honest... would it be... have you tried Hankooks? they're getting lots of good reviews recently, similarly Avons might be a good bet around your pricerange, ZZ5s I think are the ones to go for.

number two for me now - had a 300zx twin turbo that i loved, but unreliable and terrible on fuel consumption. eventually went bang. had my current zed 2 years now, see no reason to change it any time soon!

yeah i do have the V12 Evo K110s, might just go for S2 K117s, will check the prices on them as well.
