  1. Wouldn't have thought you should get a smell from the clutch with normal driving. My previous 370z was my first car so I was prone to some pretty rough gear changes and less than great driving etc for a good while. I don't recall ever getting a clutch smell, except on a couple of occasions when I over-revved and didn't release the clutch quickly enough so i got a bit of 'clutch burn'.
  2. Blimey! That is a lot of poop.
  3. Not a massive Ferrari fan usually but that is one seriously handsome car. What does your dad do for a living?
  4. Sorry, I can't resist; "principle", not "principal". I'll get my coat.
  5. I looked into sensors before getting a camera. Cobra make a set that sit flush with the bumper - they look very discrete unlike some others. I've read mixed reviews about the ones that don't require drilling the bumper.
  6. It's obviously frustrating if you're not getting a response but unless you are certain he is deliberately ignoring you, naming and shaming could backfire. I was a bit miffed that I sent one of our members a PM about one his previous posts and didn't get a reply, only to find out a few weeks later that he had been ill and died. Just be sure that before you name and shame there isn't another explanation for his lack of response.
  7. I've tried really hard but there's just something about Jags that stops me from wanting one. And I can't work out what it is....
  8. Serious - my Dad who died suddenly when I was 12. I would like to talk with him as an adult. Silly - Mila Kunis (so I could convince her what great boyfriend material I would be
  9. Exactly, thats why I said he would have been tasered and locked up if it was in the US.... Defo!
  10. Don't agree with the way the hapless officer behaved but the driver comes across as quite argumentative from the outset. I think they both wound each other up.
  11. Awwww
  12. Begin your search with this at the forefront of your mind: many dealers/some private sellers do not know the difference between the different types of 370Z, so you cannot always rely on how they are referred to in adverts. A car with a GT pack, for example, is sometimes incorrectly referred to as a GT Edition, which is something different entirely. I have also seen a Black 370Z with the GT pack referred to as a Black Edition - again incorrect. As Will says the car in the ad looks like a GT pack with the more up to date connect premium sat nav that appears in 2010+ cars. As far as I know there is the standard coupe, GT Pack (most cars), GT Ultimate (basically GT pack with a few cosmetic extras), Black Edition (includes GT pack and cosmetic extras), GT Edition (the latest version currently on sale) and later this year/next there will be a facelift model and (hopefully) the Nismo. Hope that helps
  13. I haven't seen any for sale as yet.
  14. Not sure but best thing to do is email Brian who supplies the kit. See the link to his site in my op
  15. Agreed. Get a low mileage second hand car. There are GT Editions on Auto Trader.
  16. Thanks. Got mine from Steve350z
  17. I'd like to make a plug for this guy - Jackson C Frank. Discovered his music by accident. Only made one record in the late 60s and I think it's one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. He apparently influenced a lot of artists including Paul Simon and Nick Drake. Really tragic and interesting life story too -.definitely worth a Google!
  18. I agree. Adding a mod every now and then helps to keep things interesting. Reckon ill be keeping mine for at least another couple of years.
  19. I already did (shame the poor guy only has a few months to live, apparently)
  20. Make friends with them
  21. I love that episode. Poor Pinchy Very true - there is a proven link between animal cruelty and people who move on to hurt and abuse humans (the 'baby P' case is an example). For the avoidance of doubt I don't mean the sorts of activity Rabbitstew refers to, I mean deliberate cruelty for fun.
  22. I think your point about the source of food is very valid - I try to avoid processed and factory farmed food as much as possible. I can't bring myself to eat rabbit though - I don't think the five rescue(d) bunnies we have would forgive me
  23. Watch Friends with Benefits, she looks stunning in that. She seems like a right laugh too I think I saw that. She also looks amazing in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (I am glad my other half doesn't read this
  24. We would clearly never see eye to eye on this but I will agree that free range food would be preferable to some of those pies you review Farming is one issue, as is killing to eat; but killing pigeons (which were introduced here by people) (or anything else) for crapping on a car or because they are problem in a garden is just plain wrong in my view. I'm not some animal rights nut but it's a question of balance. Why is someone's garden or car more valuable that the lives of animals that have been around in one form or another for a hell of a lot longer than people? I happen to park under a lamp post a lot of the time outside our house. I've more than once spent a good five or six hours on the car only to have it crapped on (always seems to happen when you've just finished). I also work hard to keep our garden in good shape but again I wouldn't kill an animal just for eating seeds - it's just not important enough to make it worthwhile (especially since I very much doubt that regardless of how effective the weapon is it always ends up in a clean kill). By the way, I know this will not change your views but it's an interesting read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_pigeon
