  1. Wot do the yanks quote?"there's no substitute for cubes"
  2. Might be worthwhile removing 1 of the bolts and comparing it to something in shop you are looking.Locking bolts are standard just wondering why you need new ones?
  3. Brother in law did this a few months ago, agree as above, wouldnt let them push cars at all, very dissapointed as it was a b'day present from family.
  4. There is also a product called Shock an Freeze made by Ambersil,i think, this rapidly cools the nuts/bolts so they contract and loosen, have used this a few times at work and on various cars. Nothing like a blast of cold to loosen ur nuts!
  5. Thanks for explaining guys ,thought i needed to go to opticians when first logged on!
  6. Covers are okay if not constantly removed and replaced as they 'rub' on corners and mark the paint. Also if the car is dirty when covered will possibly get scratched when taking cover on and off.Had a TR6 that was covered in a garage, that got the occasional mark and that was kept spotless.Personally i wouldnt cover a car that was kept outdoors, more harm than good!
  7. Wouldnt it be safer to give a Honda dealer a call, that old saying 'better safe than sorry!'
  8. Cant be very reliable, look at all spare parts on shelves! Ps.I want a garage that big.

On a slightly different note.Wont fitting non standard size tyres invalidate any insurance on the vehicle,as they are not factory recommended sizes?
  10. On another note, if non standard size tyres are fitted will it not invalidate any insurance on the car?

Do believe that speedometers have to be within 3% of reading correct,if you drop to 40's will completly throw speedo out therefore you wont know what speed you are actually doing.
  14. Just in time for bad weather, dont think the early S2000's had traction control either!
  15. I use my local Rapid Fit[FORD],they charge me £8 a wheel, they always put protectors on all arms etc, never had any damage to any wheels at all.Have had done at least 20 loose wheels over last 5 years.Think they do it that cheap when they arent busy and i always ring first to find best time when to go.
  16. Burn it and weigh in the gold
