  1. Not long term (stupid obviously) but for a day or so while I get one of the front alloys repaired? Naturally driving uber sensibly in this period? Anyone know if that's likely to do any harm or is it just a case of don't be an idiot with it?
  2. I'm one of those young ones and have realised that it would definitely be very easy to put it into a ditch. The petrol prices are doing my head in but when you put your foot down and watch the rest of the road disappear behind you, you know you're in the right car
  3. They're both as bad as each other if you ask me! The petrol station's not all bad with the Zed I suppose, get a lot of looks there these days
  4. This morning my fuel gauge dropped to the red section with the amber light to indicate 49 miles DTE. At lunch, after 5 miles of driving, it made its way back up to half way through the final quarter, reading 70 miles DTE. Are they all this inaccurate or do I have a magic 350Z which produces its own super unleaded? (I hope it's the latter...)

  6. Welcome! I have no experience but would go for the paddles

    Yay/Nay?

Leave as is: NAY Redline: Nay Alacantra: Yay
  8. Q. Why did Nissan only make one of the electric windows automatic so you have to hold the other down the entire time it operates? A. ? Q. Why did Nissan design it so that you have to depress the clutch to start the 350Z? A. Security / safety / random quirky feature?
  9. Q. What is a Tonneau cover and what does it do? A. ?
  10. They fitted a cassette player, what more could you possibly want in a luxury sports car...
  11. Brilliant! You hold down the bottom button on the left of the dash to reset
  12. Almost spat my breakfast all over the table this morning when I saw this on the News.
  13. Ditched a 1.2 L Vauxhall Corsa and took the plunge. Bought privately with savings instead of doing something sensible (boring) with them.
  14. Howay the Lads! (Hopefully not a Mackem / Smoggie...) Welcome
  15. I bought mine privately in April and paid by bank transfer, it was Barclays - Barclays online so we could both see the money go in and out of each other's accounts instantly. Obviously if you walk into a room looking like an underground computer hacking hub and you don't trust it, then you don't want to go for that method. A guaranteed bank draft written in branch with both parties present has got to be the safest method of payment though.
  16. PM me for both (I don't know how to remove the cradle but will be selling when I get my new Head Unit, hopefully next week)
  17. I think a single just looks a bit strange in such an impressive car, I feel I need to keep the ICE up to the standard of the Zed and not let him down by trying to save myself some money haha
  18. If I were you I would put an extra £100 into it and then you can get a slick looking double DIN which will have all the connectivity you will ever need and a DVD player / screen just for the hell of it! This is my short-list, I'm still deciding too: viewtopic.php?t=49192
  19. 220 miles including: - Work and back 3 times - 45 minutes of driving like lewis hamilton (read into that what you like...) - 2+ hours of near stationary traffic (the MPG's worst enemy)
  20. Black 350Z with 2 occupants spotted heading East on A40 (in traffic) towards the Hangar Lane Gyratory at 0910 on 10/05/2011 p.s. give her a wash
  21. You won't regret buying one
  22. Sorry to soil this thread but I think that looks much better in orange with the black alloys
  23. That's looking pretty good! How do you 'mod' a fascia, just stick other bits of fascia onto it?
