  1. what sort of discount can we expect?
  2. P.S it does sound lovely though, got two thumbs up already tonight!
  3. look forward to getting the uprev then, would appreciate a little faster throttle response, it feels like its being held back sometimes
  4. what's this about a group buy?
  5. did you find it a little smoky? Ive enquired to RS in leeds to have the UpRev what was your overall dyno reading after that lot?
  6. I have a 'new' diff fitted, a 2005 with 45k miles unit...but... the noise is still there, so either ive been incredibly unlucky and got another diff with exactly the same fault...or its something else i previously changed both rear tyres to matching high quality ones, which made no difference Garage previous to that discounted the bearings.....but with all the above changed, how can it be anything else? Any thoughts? Cheers all
  7. So i now have Berks, Stillen Y Pipe then Japspeed K2 centre and back box. ALL sounds very nice, great burble at idle and really roar's with a nice rasp under acceleration, but not intrusive at cruising speeds. One or two questions though: 1/ It seems a little smoky at startup, is this normal or is it just new cat's wearing in? 2/ Is there any chance the car is now running a little rich now there's less restriction in the Berks? Cheers all
  8. side on isnt too bad, but overall its FUGLY
  9. i had that bush replaced as i got squeaks over speed bumps. Drop link issues with mine was a knocking sound going over rough ground. Hope this helps!
  10. i'll get myself a mobile sand pit then
  11. Deffo not me then, thats worse then Genocide in my books! Was messing with google streetview , opened up Dereham highstreet and looking right at me was a Silver Nissan 350z, can't quite make out who's in it, but could be me!
  12. but it started almost immediately after i messed with the head unit, i must have done something in there, as i havent had a single static shock til, then, i havent any more variety of clothing to try! im not going naked lol
  13. ive tried three different pairs, trainers, leather shoes, and my uniform boots, happens in everything, very annoying, i have started closing the door with my leg as its not as sore on the knee when you get zapped lol
  14. im not kicking my windows in just to close my door lol I did check if anything i was wearing was synthetic, went all cosy cotton, still get zapped, its starting to make me think twice about driving it dont want one of those crappy earthing straps, will make the Zed look liks a caravan
  15. i'll keep you posted as to what happens here, seems its not too common a problem, hope the diff removal and fitting is as straight forward as it looks, heavy though, not sure how the garage will do it!
  16. I recently tried to replace my Head Unit but failed due to wrong parts, so reinstalled the OEM unit. Now when the ignition is on, there's a constant low level hiss through the speakers even when the head unit isnt on. But worse than that, everytime i get out of the car after a few mins driving, i always get a nasty static shock as soon as i ground myself and then tough the metalwork on the car...bloody hurts too! Do you think these are both related? somehow the head unit is now putting a current through the body?
  17. I think the nurburgring's are quite agressive, i like them i know what you mean about the Bronze ones though, do look nice, not overly keen with the mirror finish on the gunmetal though
  18. Since the last threat about this turned into an all out war, without anything being mentioned about the topic, i thought i'd start a new one, as i would like advice as to the best set up. Whats your thoughts on this people?
  19. TSW Nurburgring look really nice http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nurburgring.php
  20. i have this issue, but its more a drone than a whine, increased noticeably above 40mph, ive had a few people check it out, the consensus is that the diff is badgered in some way. Try the test they did for me, which was to get to motorway cruising speeds, preferably on a smooth road, then put the car into neutral and coast along, if the sound picks up considerably as did mine, then its the limited slip differential (according to the engineers) I have just got myself a second hand diff and am waiting to fit it, i'll let you know on the outcome,
  21. tell me more sil-vous-plait
  22. My suspension is getting a bit old and rusty, i was thinking some sort of coilover set, but i dont want anything harder riding on the road... any suggestions? cheers
  23. Just wondered, if there are any decent aftermarket steering wheels available or anything you can do to change your existing steering wheel, such as replacing the leather with new, or maybe alcantera?
