  1. Had a mad start on the build this weekend spent the whole of the long weekend on Phase 1 - I did warn you though some may not like phase 1 others may hate it. Viewer discretion is advised as some of the following pictures could scar you for life!!!!! But we have to go through these things in order to get a new garage and keep the better half in agreement to losing her utility room and most of the back garden So here it is The Zed Shed Part Deux Phase 1 So to start I wrecked the kitchen Collected some materials Then I found my first nightmare I need to split the 4 way light switch down as I am splitting the room up but it was slightly more daunting than I thought But after only 3 hours and a few calls to my sparky I had that sussed I made a start on the framework then the dividing wall I hope you are keeping in mind this is all part of building a new garage New services first fix By the end of the weekend I had made it this far - Still got a bit to do on phase one but I keep thinking how good the new Zed Shed will be when it's finished - about 10 weeks hopefully - fingers crossed In the meanwhile you will be pleased to know that having half the house demolished and no kitchen in no way hampered F1 night or kept Buster away from food!!!! More soon
  2. Now that is a good sized Garage / Man Cave / Play area
  3. If it's Ash it would have the Derek The Datsun sticker in the back window
  4. That's fine - just in time for the builder AKA "The Flashing Blade" to have laid all the blocks and the roof to be on you can help with the fit out
  5. Here and it starts tomorrow - But I warn you now you probably wont like the first 3 to 4 phases!!!! @ All Thanks - Well Chuffed at the moment
  6. After a few hiccups along the way we got the answer on "The ZedShed Part II" today ........................ Drum Roll please
  7. Yer but we all know how your mind works It's a place I certainly don't want to go
  8. Sounds like a great bit of kit Best I have is Buster's shoulder to cry on when it all goes pair shaped
  9. ^^^^ That was half way through mate that whole board is full - Yes used drawers still have at least 3 draws full of spanners as well Like that they are easy to find and when you finish a job you can see at a glance if any tools are missing. Each to their own though whatever works for you
  10. I fancy stillen is it a nice barable loud? I like mine nice for motorway - not to loud but you know it's there at normal speeds (so not the M3 as most of it is 50 zone at the moment ) sounds great when you open her up - is a bit loud holding speed in lower gears 120mph is a "loud spot" tends to drone but you only get there on track so no issue - may be a bit worse on long stints in Germany - hope to find out at some point
  11. Here I am - ZedShed Before - During refurb After Trouble is I have got more tools and have a problem finding a space due to other Zed's See what I mean Even parking is an issue at times But Tomorrow is D day for planning - unless they go for an extension Fingers crossed I will soon have a new and improved ZedShed II
  12. Stillen is pretty loud (well mine is) ARK is a nice sound though
  13. Great pic - Zoom in and have a look at the head poking out over Busters boot - looks like a belisha beacon glowing away there - Little to much sun me thinks. Strange I thought he would be more purple - but I don't know what colour blue goes in the sun
  14. Nice seat Poor passenger is gonna be sliding about though
  15. Yup they look to be the "JDM" spec brakes - as long as they came off the a 350 they will fit - you will need matching caliper bolts and the correct brake hose - the last bit of the brake line from hard pipe to flexi - the Brembo has a different connector onto the caliper than the JDM IIRC. Just trying to be helpful

I like that Going to go with the crowd though and say I still think you could find better wheels than either set shown Interior bits and engine bay are looking much better than when you got her - keep up the good work
  17. I'd check the door switch little black rubber thing in the door shut, may have sparked when the fuse blew and now not making a good connection - just an idea
  18. That won't rent a 1 bed flat down here - wish my payments were this side of £1000 let alone £500 - lucky sod

  20. Got mine wrapped - It aint paint!!!! But then it doesn't cost as much, Depends what you want and if you want it to be removable. I'm happy(ish) with mine but I got it at a very good price - just be aware that it is not going to be as good as a respray.
  21. Thought I would just add this for now
