  1. OK Val, I'll help out As you can tell Val came by the ZedShed for some "action" She wasted no time getting down and dirty fair play she did a great job A quick pit stop Then onto the fitting The downside - Unfortunately all 4 bleed nipples in the rear callipers had seized solid so with a bit of careful drilling and with the aid of a stud remover we managed to replace both outside bleed nipples with the ones from the original front brakes. This did mean that we couldn't do a complete bleed leaving the pedal slightly spongy! I had no more nipples and even with the pedal as it was it was quite capable of locking the wheels just with a slightly longer press than it should have. Val promised to take it easy on the way home and is getting the last 2 nipples seen to and the brakes bled again on Monday. They did look good though I would have made her stay but it was getting late and the dogs had to be fed!! Great to see you again Val, Had a good day shame we didn't get it 100% finished. Bob has put one LOUD HU in that car See you again soon and don't forget to get the Zed booked in to finish the brakes!!!!!!! Keyser
  2. Unless you have an SC - then the belt is miles long and looks like a plate of spaghetti when fitted! So for the OP - check your belts but I'm hoping it's the mouse.
  3. Great numbers Sam Hope to find out what mine will do soon

Didn't let that slow me down to much! 8. When I was acquitted of speeding in a 30 zone (because I was a law abiding 19 year old in an Alfa) (OK I had a better solicitor) and yes it was a few tears ago! My solicitor quoted from some legislation in a book that the speed had to be verified by a device such as a calibrated speedometer or the opinion of a correctly trained Police officer. In my case it was an officer who's "expert opinion" was taken apart by the defence A for registration doc V5 the only thing I do know is the registered keeper does not have to be the owner not sure about the address having to be correct but I'm sure they will have a bit of legislation somewhere that says it does. Apparently your driving licence paper part is not valid if you don't sign it and you can get a fine if its not signed,
  9. Good evening again, back at it again tonight I have deadlines you know! So first up after Chris`I's comment about the wires fitting (which after doing Bobs radio I knew would be tight I had a test fit and it was very very tight! Nothing that a bit of Dremel action didn't cure The I fitted the water meth pump and finished the wiring, except the tank low level warning as this will have to wait until the trim is back in the boot. Now as Ian told me neons are making a comeback and NeilP told me they were cool I put one in the cubby so I can see the NOS bottles at night Also put some colour on this the next pic is without flash (and out of focus ) but show the colour better That's all folks ........................

  13. Hello peeps. I started tonight with sanding down the lower console and giving it a second coat of primer My new AEM (second hand from eBay) fuel pressure gauge arrived today - tested and works fine, so that replaced the cheapo one in the console I also modified them slightly so the fit snug in the mounts. bit more done on the wiring then fed some more wires, this time for the water meth controller and pump. Then Bob turned up and we kicked it up a gear - cheers mate Parts going on all over the place she is even looking like a Zed again! That's all folks......................
