He got one of them retractable cubbys today - wants to fit his sat nav in it so............... As it had the old Jap sat nave we had to modify it, cut a backing plate from wood Shaped it and stuck it Double sided tape on top Carbon Fibre top plate (needs a hole here) done and fitted Looking good mate

DON'T BUY A MINI Sorry had to I use the camera (so I know where it goes back) and dive in - started like many when I was young on scooters age 9 If you have a mechanical mate ask if they want some company doing a service on their car its all good learning.

Stolen from a privious build thread just for you Posted by Keyser on 25 November 2011 - 21:55 in Member build projects I was asked about the sandblasting setup so for anyone who wants to see how I do it here it is - probably more interesting at this point of the project anyway. OK I have a corner of the Zedshed setup like this just to the right is the sand blaster I have Behind the green tarp where it all happens After a session I just tip it together in the tarp Then it is filtered back into the blaster which stops this going back in and blocking the nozzle A trip through the "chamber" turns to I have 3 dust sheets and 4 tarps over the Zed and after about 8 hours blasting the top cover looks like this That's a blue tarp Honest But the pile of clean bits is getting bigger That's all folks ................

Tonight was Test 'a' Tent night As you know the wife didn't really kick me out she said "you ain't that lucky" The "tent" is an attempt to keep the dust down while sandblasting - not doing a bad job I ran a few bits tonight and I got some pics for you lot (I'm so nice) Before and afters for your viewing pleasure............... lot of work to do Stay tuned for the next exciting episode ......................

My Best mate Buster showed up tonight He looked in the Zedshed to see my new accomaddation and said "this just won't do buddy" Aww great I thinks - he's gonna offer me the spare room at his place I'll be all warm and toasty again no time. "let's get this mess sorted out" he says, so we pulled the tarps of and pack the tent up, I'm just getting my toothbrush and heading for his Zed when I realise he is still in the ZedShed?? He has the old gazebo and a pile of zip ties - what can he be doing I wonder?? But all soon becomes clear as he says "There ya go mate much better" Thanks Buster - still think his spare room would have been warmer!!!!! Anyway we moved the furniture in ^^ Somewhere for the kettle Mrs Buster Lighting And as we had to make the gazebo "smaller" we made some custom connectors Much better
