  1. I got HKS from Alex, Goodridge I have seen, have screw in options at each end of the line whereas the HKS ones I had to smooth off the caliper and rely on a bolt and loop to attach. Personally would have felt better with the screw in type but wasnt going to fork out nigh on £200.
  2. Not sure Ox, Walcott and Young are in the best attacking talent pool to be honest. When you look at Ibrahimovic, Ribery, most the German side, most Spainish side, oh god the list goes on - I would have all them in front of Ox, Walcott and Young.
  3. + 1 It's not like it takes long either, the comentators generally manage to watch the replays, argue and decided in a matter of moments! And as with the other sports it adds a bit of tension/excitement whilst staring at the big sreen waiting for the verdict!! Pull your finger out FIFA Blatter announces that ball line technology will be introduced now for sure - obviously when it happened to England two years ago he couldnt give two hoots. But now its happened to a nation that paid him lots of money to choose them as the host nation things must change... ...oh, did I just say something slanderous there?
  4. Small players can hold the ball up just as well as big players - the amount of times I watch Carlton Cole have a ball up to him, he shoves the defender out the way and ball bounces off him is ridiculous. Rooney for instance isn't a big player but is excellent at holding the ball up. Defoe, cannot hold the ball up not because of height but because he isn't strong enough and its not in his make up to do that. He feeds on scraps, runs at centre backs and in the channels. Sorry Dave but Johnson is not a frustrated winger and never was, if you look at his history he grew up playing centre back as he was quite tall for his age when he was younger. But he was very much in the mould or Rio which Tony Carr was pushing on the centre backs at that time. Which is why Johnson is actually pretty good on the ball. When he went to Chelsea he was forced to play right back, which if you ask any central defender isn't easy as it involves a whole new method of playing (ie not facing up attackers) which is why it took so long for him to get into the groove for that position. Parker can pass, and in fact I would argue is probably the most technically accomplished player in the team very rarely wasting possession only playing the hollywood pass when it really is on. Lescott would be an utter joke at right back, sorry captain, thats a shocking call. If you don't like Johnson then play Kelly who would be a better bet than a 6'3'' guy trying to adjust 20 years of his game playing down the middle where 50% of his touches are clearing headers. A midfield of 5 with Walcott, Ox, Young, Gerrard and Parker. I reckon on the latter two could do that - the others couldnt cope with the confined spaces and quick thinking and passing required.
  5. Yes plenty of ads with the wrong spec on them - also watch out for ads where the owners add an air intake which takes their Zed up to 330bhp or something...because quite frankly, thats boll0xs For that money it will be a 276bhp (if you go for a model with reasonable mileage) so the things you are looking for as bonuses are Rays alloys GT spec (so leather seats, BOSE, cruise) Also check the exhausts, seen quite a few new owners buy cars with great aftermarket exhausts as the older cars do tend to have exhaust failure by now
  6. a big +1 10mph per gear, why have a car that revs to 6500rpm and never use 80% of it
  7. 7000 post of aggression therapy!
  8. 5th I would have thought was too high unless you are not actively accelerating Personally, I use 2nd around town, sounds better
  9. FAQ section here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17also scan the forum, there are lots of sections which refer to information you will need as those questions have all been asked hundreds of times - also use the search function top right corner its very good. On your budget you are looking at 280 (which is the 276) car, most likely an 04 or earlier. The 313bhp cars are much later ones.
  10. I am still confused by all the anti-Johnson views, have people watched the three games properly without tinted glasses? He hasn't done much wrong, and has on occasion bailed us out with his pace which is very much lacking in the middle. Richards has class no doubt, but has only played about 100 minutes since March. Adam Johnson is suffering from whats called 'Cityism' ie playing for a team he never gets a decent run in the team therefore how can you pick him for international level? You saw last night what missing 4 weeks of football does to a players touch and form with Rooney's general play. Still waiting for Young to play well which is a worry as he was very consistent before the tournament.
  11. How else to set it up? Easy. Terry should play left centre-back next to Cole like at Chelsea. Jags should play right centre-back and Lescott move to right back getting rid of the ridiculous Johnson. Parker and The Ox in front of the back four. Parker needs more energy next to him and The Ox can play this role. See game against Milan for proof. Attacking midfield 3 of Gerrard, Walcott and Young. Send Milner home to avoid any more embarrassment. Defoe up front. Simples. Do you follow football? Johnson has arguably been our best defender at the tournament - Lescott is left footed! Ox in front of the back four? An attacking winger? One game is not 'proof' - he will get destroyed there at international level Walcott cant play down the middle, as we have seen time and again Have to say surprised Defoe hasnt had more time on the pitch, I am not as impressed by Wellbeck as everyone else seems to be. He scored that goal, but otherwise his play has generally been quite wasteful - would never stick Defoe up front on his own though he wouldnt touch the ball From what I have seen, the two banks of four have operated really well as a unit - some slack marking against the Swedes was at fault for the goals, not the system. Teams hate playing against this England team, you can see it all too clear, yes it doesnt look pretty but as I said I bet you sack of rice you wont see any England fans complaining if they go all the way in this tournament.
  12. Its not all that bad guys, look at France they hardly covered themselves in glory. Look at the Dutch! I think we are hard to beat, given the lack of any real talent in the team what else are you meant to do? How else can you set the team up? We topped the group, when everyone predicted us being on the plane tomorrow.
  13. Dave, stop being so boring

    Japshow @ Pod

Some amazing photos - would love to do that but would be bricking it on the start line!
  15. Slightly off topic, but does anyone remember a short lived show about 20 years ago called Swag? There is a clip here, watch from 3:20 onwards...genius
  16. My alarm is also pretty quiet, rubbish in fact, I was stood next to it when it went off the other day and didnt even notice it was the Zed, thought it was another car up the road somewhere.

  18. But its not a Z, its Nissan. There are plenty Zed badges left - one on each fender, one on the rear strut brace, one on the steering wheel.
  19. Changed mine from standard to Cosworth and felt nothing - gave it a slightly different sound but marginal. Spending £30 on an air filter, on a car running circa 250bhp on average, is not going to make a noticeable difference. I challenge anyone to tell me they can notice a 1-2bhp change on a 250bhp car... ...anyway, the car will reset to factory default power anyway, without the uprev, this will prevail over any power adding mods.
  20. Storming start though in those conditions pal Wow, the grass verge is still there, as a ten year old my car mad cousins used to take me to santa pod and we used to sit on the grass and watch bikes, cars, funny cars and the odd jet car tear up the tarmac!
  21. I suppose its a tough one, why would Nalbandian play on, and in fact even try, if he knows he is already disqualified? He must have known straight away what would happen. Something like docking them a set and awarding it to the opponent might work in certain circumstances.
  22. ...what forums have a more modern look? Maybe worth listing a few examples?
  23. Mine just sits there with the little icon spinning for minutes at a time...so give up and post it again a few minutes later...but there is no information to say whether it has posted or not
  24. In Tennis rules are rules, especially when it comes to unsportsmanlike conduct its a big thing for them. Apparently the judge did have a gash in his shin - I like Nalbandian, but in that moment, there was no need for that.
