  1. am I right in thinking this is basically a sticker set?
  2. Id be interested to know the outcome of this too as I personally think it makes the front end look a lot more aggressive which is Ebay returns a set for about £40 I think from memory
  3. I bought my import in December of last year for 7.5k with 40k miles on it, had rays, AEM induction kit, Nismo bodykit too. Id say they are looking for a lot of money for an import, like others have said you can easily pick up a nice UK GT car for that money.
  4. Looks beautiful mate big thumbs up from me
  5. If the car isnt dropped I assume OEM setup is probably best, but at the moment my geometry is all over the shop, lots of camber on the front and rear along with a slight bit of toe out on the front and a bit of toe in on the rear. Need to get some adjustable suspension components then I can set it up properly. Doesnt feel bad currently just will wear through tyres a bit fast. If tyre wear isnt of much concern you could have a fairly aggressive geometry which would feel great on "spirited" drives or on track.
  6. good lord that sounds yummy lol, pleased that your happy with it. I assume on the autoblip downshift it sounds awesome too. Just imagine it decatted I also massively wish I had a pit in my garage, I need to make friends with some of you lot that have these awesome home garage setups
  7. I at some point would like some Nismo N1 skirts at somepoint, have you not thought about getting the Nismo rear spats? and a Nismo N1 or N2 front bumper? All depends on what rear bumper you were thinking of getting but whatever you do dont alter the side-skirts lol
  8. I would also say proper coilovers are your best option, I considered lowering springs but then I wouldnt have the adjustment I wanted, i.e. ride height and dampener stiffness. Not entirely sure what the spring rates are on XYZ coilovers (what I have) but would be interested in trying some other ones on the shocks.
  9. 23, used to be a health and safety officer for a national roofing firm, hated it and now im currently towards the end of my second year of uni studying motorsport engineering at oxford brookes. Also work for Britcar during the race season, for those of you who dont know they run two series' endurance GT racing and production car endurance races. Most well known for running the 24 hour race each year at Silverstone (2007 top gear did it in the diesel BMW).
  10. First question which petrol station in Haywards Heath (thats where im based) as every one I came across was rammed with people panic buying, and there is no super left in the shell (where I normally fill up). But welcome to zed ownership, if your around Haywards Heath and you see a silver coupe with a Nismo front bumper and spoiler give it a flash its me
  11. answered my question lol (about price), I only want skirts and spats as I already have a Nismo N1 front bumper Id snap this up if I was on standard bodywork though
  12. If thats still here by the end of the month id be massively tempted, will have to go check out some sound clips, but for a catback system thats good money i think (get paid thats my reason for hesitation haha)
  13. I do wonder how much for as they were pretty
  14. Much better mate Also love the wheels, imo suit the GTR more than the old (who cares if they aren't sexy bronze TE37's )
  15. yep deffo get spacers, my car is also crying out for them lol Im also interested in more pics too, is that paint or a wrap?
  16. Id say keep the 350 and get a bike, at least for this year. Much cheaper option too, then you have all bases covered. Plus if you still feel the need for a 370 after you can still do that
  17. Anyone that was having issues i.e. OP sorted theirs out yet? If I find the time today I will give it another go lol
  18. I used that guide initially lmao, I will leave it for today as I dont fancy buggering around in the drive while its raining. But When I get round to it many pictures will be taken and a guide done once I have figured it out lol.
  19. ok so the one on the left is the offending connector? It doesnt seem to locate at all if you try it the other way round, im going to have to go out to the car and fiddle lol I feel so bloody stupid that a couple of plugs has me stumped
  20. The only one i can see that may be possible to plug in the wrong way round is the one that plugs into the existing throttle sensor in the car, but i plugged mine in the same way that i took the other one out as it clicks when its situated, i imagine you wouldnt get a click if you had it in the other way round. the one on the right in this pic? The one on the left is the plug I had my suspicions with initially as it doesn't seem to push in far enough
  21. I had the exact same problem mate, and im 100% sure I didnt have this illusive plug that is poorly designed the wrong way round. You cant actually plug it in the wrong way round imo, it just doestnt seem to plug in far enough (perhaps the design of the connector has changed as it will not locate trying the other way around) I too would love to find out how you get this to work, like you say there is three things to connect how can one possibly get it wrong? edit: is the one you can possibly plug in the wrong way round the one that actually plugs into the car, or the extra loom part that daisy chains into the throttle controller?
  22. one of these (not my pic) Then a grande punto sporting T-Jet, blue, leather interior etc. Silly me bought it brand new at a cost of 14k when the turbos came out (not my pic) After driving my friends TVR Griffith 500 I was on the hunt for something a bit more special Shame the engine threw a rod and set it on fire... On to the next one... For when it was crap outside had one of these Then moved on to
