  1. I will have another look sometime this week as its been sitting in a drawer waiting to be fitted for ages now. Might post some pics up if I encounter any other problems, but I am convinced it is something to do with having a separate fob for the immobiliser and it only seems to give me full power to the accessories when the engine is started, not on the ignition on position...
  2. That is probably one of the nicest zeds I have seen. I want it, shame I already have one
  3. tbh I was more than happy with the spacers I received from him, I guess you have just been unlucky. I will be PM'ing him again soon with another order for spacers, just need to see if I can squeeze 35mm on the rear after my arches are rolled or settle for 30mm lol.
  4. I still havnt got mine to work either. Not that I have tried again since though. I dont know if its something to do with me having a JDM as my immobiliser is a separate fob that I have to touch on the dash before starting the car. I can disable the immobiliser and then have power to the car but only when I turn the ignition to on and start the engine do I get power to my throttle controller. I cant believe I have had this problem and so many other owners have not Anyway if someone fixes this I would be very happy to give it another go when I have the time lol
  5. Wanted: Spacers, N1 side skirts, and a few other bits and bobs Look what your sig says... Put it down and I will worry about the rest apart from payment Your not wrong, shame the payment is my largest concern We shall see after I have rolled the rear arches and see how big of a spacer I can fit in there is, then sideskirts
  6. I want to be able to put my name down...I must think harder
  7. Full photo guide needed Got the feeling I may have to do this if it fixes it some point down the line
  8. Oh go on then, if this thread is to be resurrected
  9. Frost leather tease! haha Does look good though
  10. Freebird

    New Rota Grids

for stretched tyres is needs to be decked, get coilovers now to avoid epic arch gap I have always personally had a problem with the Rota centre caps, but not sure what the alternative is. Wheels are nice though
  11. Nice to see some more scenic pictures than the others With regard to colours being a pig to keep clean, my first VX220 was washed about 5 times a week (no joke) it was a pearlescent yellow and just any bit of dirt would make it look filthy! Once you start doing a few choice modifications you will just carry on You will want an aftermarket exhaust once you hear some that have them, im a fan of mine much more since oh and mated with decats and an AEM induction kit This post amused me also haha, I can tick the first 4 of those lmfao
  12. Love the wheels, which leads me to ask. What are they, sizes, finish and where do I buy them from haha
  13. Mine has started doing this also, I havnt had the time to have a look personally but it is a horrible noise and a little worrying. I would love to know what your solution is as I think im going to have mine apart soon to have a look
  14. Jealous, I LOVE TE37's I fancy trying to obtain a bronze set for my zed, or even just to look at haha Many pics once fitted please
  15. I have driven some considerable distances in my VX220 when I had it, only pain in the arse was having to unclip your harnesses at junctions To be fair they require more attention to drive if that makes sense, like you feel more fatigued after a long trip. But its always fun, especially on the A048's oh my the grip! I think crazy little plastic shitbox gokart on rails is deffo something everyone has to own at somepoint
  16. Well if it comes to it you should deffo give us ex S2 chassis owners first dibs on part Even if you decide not to go for it, deffo have a drive I think you will love it
  17. Id go with what coldel said first, takes a few mins max to realign the plate on top of the gearbox.
  18. Mine is fudged into 3rd which is annoying, I think gearboxes are a fairly common problem in the earlier cars. Can only suggest having a look through ebay for a second hand box or
  19. what heater although to be fair mine had to have been one of the only ones that actually got hot inside!
  20. The chassis on the S2 is phenomenal, not alot can handle like they can. An Exige S is a bloody good car, they are pretty fast but can be driven VERY fast. You will be surprised the speeds you can take corners. I used to own a VX220 which is the same chassis as the Exige and the zed just feels like a huge barge in comparison. I probably wouldnt have sold my VX and ended up with a zed if I didnt need something more practical. Its a different driving style too being mid engine rear wheel drive and the engines are revvier too. They also have so much presence on the road for such a small vehicle. Personally if switching back to one of those cars id go with a Honda engined S1 Exige possibly supercharged too, but they are rare and £££. I can only suggest you test drive one and see what you think. Is a Noble something you might be interested in also?
  21. Pretty decent looking finish on the stuff you have done gold, you should end up with your car looking similar to this I think the gold colour with black centres on different wheels would look rather yum
  22. Bit of a thread resurrection I know lol, but a mate of mine on the SXOC is going to order me a set of these tomorrow If you have a spare £175 knocking about you can get some rather tasty looking proper Titanium ones Link: http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php? ... -Wheel-nut
  23. Love the purple thats the colour I would preference in my engine bay. I also wondered what the filter looked like on the AEM kit, I have the longer version (came on my car when I got it).
  24. I want them but am a poor lowly student Best of luck with the sale mate, cant wait to see them on someone's zed. If anything get 12" at the rear
