  1. Don't consider items because they are cheap!! Consider for betterment! Resist the urge. "We Are the Borg". "You Will be Assimilated". "Resistance is Futile".
  2. +1. I've got one I will have a play with you That's worrying.. Is that your usual chat up line Trust me I was referring to the auto mobiles my good man
  3. +1. I've got one í ½í¸‰ I will have a play with you
  4. I am led to believe that the pad touches the disc all the time by just skimming the surface. It should soon go altogether. However if you take the wheel off after jacking it up and release the handbrake you can spin the disc, thus finding out where its coming from.
  5. I think it's best to agree to disagree. Until someone can come up with concrete evidence as to why. I am not going on line to look it up either. I have asked an MOT tester and they did not know the answer. Only a number of guesswork probabilities. I like these debates as they really stretch the imagination.
  6. I am on the same 725 injectors but read up as they might have there own recommendations
  7. I might stand up to attention after I put the quaife differential in, but I really want to know the reason why not. I am quite surprised that so many say you can't but no one has yet come up with a plausible answer. What makes it more of a mystery is 2 of the 3 MOT places I use the owner has a Zed lol
  8. It's all very well them saying don't do it but I want to know why? So please can someone explain in plain English without looking up Doctor Google
  9. I always use rollers. To my understanding if both wheels are spinning at the same speed then what's the issue? The brakes engage together on the rear axle not at different times of each other do they not? And its the brake application that stops the rollers! So if both rollers run at the same speed turning both rear wheels simultaneous, and both wheels brake together then please enlighten me as i fail miserably to get my head round it. I would have an issue if they did my 4x4 with the diff lock engaged, but that's completely different. This is my understanding and of course I could be quite wrong. We certainly did Haydens on the rollers last month!
  10. What's up Dip. Girlfriend not tethered to your lips so you got time to comment :) I am only kidding
  11. The people selling are basing this on what they have been promised by the supplier. I spent an hour in Apple store in Bath on Wednesday and they are not having there 1st delivery until late on the 18th. Ready for sale on 19th. Virgin can't even get hold of one to look at let alone make promises. And thus far everyone is up in arms about Apples pricing policy. Oh happy days. So which one am I having Adrian?
  12. Is this a continuation from last year by any chance Adrian? If so can I have it in words of one syllable as I had brain damage last time
  13. You make them and I'll break them
  14. All the 350's have foam injected "Headrests" I did a thread about it 2 years ago. Do not attempt to take it off as the foam is stuck to the underside. If you ordered a replacement from Redline goods of Poland, they made them wrong. Any headrest cover replacement must go over the top, unless you have the know how to make one from scratch.

I don't often post in tyre debates as there is never an outright conclusion. So I decided that in the 3 years I have had this car ( the longest I have ever kept one for) I am still on the same set of tyres that I put on when I got her, Bridgestone 050 whatever 275/40/18 rear and 244/40/18 front. I have got used to the characteristics and am extremely happy. In addition they still have 50% of tread left after 16000mls of driving. I am concerned that someone mentioned that they no longer are making this tyre, and MPSS do not make the size I want. I am a firm believer that the more rubber on the road the better. I never have tyres on that are 3mm or below so will be looking at changing in March. So I am reading these threads with interest to see what's a good alternative. I never skimp on tyres, and am happy to pay top money for a tyre that is a good all rounder especially in the winter.
  16. Without doubt, leaving it for two weeks not moving or running would be absolutely disastrous, causing untold and irreversible damage! Just drop it off with the keys at mine and I'll make sure it doesn't stand idle. Oh remember to fill the tank, an empty tank can be harmful too. Stop fuelling the flames. Everyone knows you cover it with a soft blanket and leave magic playing on the radio. Or in SMD's case. Sing it a lullaby before leaving
  17. I ended up after all with a ITG MAXOGEN as it had a slightly bigger surface area and was a stronger construction. Early tests suggest its working fine. Am dropping it off at Horsham so Jezz can sort my misfire out. I will let you know what he finds at a later date.
  18. Cam shaft sensor would be no more than about £85. That was how much my mate paid for his on the DE engine. On HR there are 2 and I may be wrong but, I was sure there is only one on a DE at the back. 2nd hand one for £29 plus £6 postage. Open to best offer. It's just a matter of using the forum to help you as always http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350-Z-2003-2005-3-5L-CAMSHAFT-SENSOR-PBT-GF30-/181509285529?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3ANissan%7CModel%3A350+Z&hash=item2a
