the finest wet and dry paper you can find, like a 2000grit will look awful after some light rubbing down, but after a polish it will be like new!

pilot sports are also a very good tyre mate - IMO there are probably a few that wont agree, thats the general way with tyres! iv only driven M3's with them on, and 335i's and d's. and they were up to the task!
