  1. Mine was doing this, changed the battery and all fine now. Hope this helps.
  2. Mine is definitely a GT as stated on the original purchase/order invoice. But it does not state GT on the v5. Have a search because I'm sure there is a previous thread on this.
  3. Cheers Just got in and turned it on.
  4. Didn't someone say recently that they were dropping at the rate of £500 per month?? So although there is some joy to be had from owning a 350, it is unlikely there is any "profit" in it.
  5. Saw PEN 1S on a cherished number site for £120k I kid you not!!!
  6. A friend of mine worked at a main agent for a while. As Chris warned, be aware that it will be a low basic with a sliding scale of commission. Whether the two combined will actually add up to 35k is a different matter. Also bear in mind that as the "new boy" you will be fighting against the established salesmen with there repeat customers "I spoke to them before" and all the underhand tricks in the book to take your sale. Remember you are only as good as the last sale you made. Another friend of mine in sales described being a salesman as "prostitution without the penetration"
  7. Was in Nissan dealers for some clips so asked about number plate holder. For original Nissan part. Part code 62740 Part No. 96210-CD80A Trade price £51.93
  8. The 240 is in Stoke on Trent, that's only about 40 minutes from me!! Lovely looking car, interesting to know what he's hoping to get for it. If any one is genuinely interested in it, I don't mind going and having a preliminary look and reporting back.
  9. TomSinclair said, What you will find is that it was probably £500 bumper repair, £1500 personal injury and £5,500 solicitors and accident management company. These people are billing the insurance companies £240 per hour!!!! 2 hours of an office junior e mailing and photo copying and that's your insurance premium used up! This is what needs to be capped!!!! It is nothing short of criminal!
  10. Live in Macclesfield ( up north ) but work a lot in London. Two COMPLETELY different styles of driving and attitude. Fortunately only ever in a van in London. Would definitely not want to drive the Zed down there.
  11. Yep, that was the one I was thinking about.
  12. I'm sure this car was advertised on E-Bay for a while.
  13. Brilliant pictures! Thanks for your time and effort posting them. Looks like an amazing experience!
  14. The reason they have quoted for a new badge is that they will be removing it for paintwork. This is a good thing, rather than masking it out or trying to stick it back on with double sided sticky tape. I admire your sentiments regarding trying to keep the costs down, but would want the car back to exactly how it was pre accident and no compromise. All the best with the repair.
  15. I notice on the reply to his M3 number plate that it has "2 digits less than normal". Am i to assume it's not a full fist then?
  16. Best of luck and have a great time! Awaiting posting of photos
