  1. As JetSet says about M.O.T check but what you need is the reference number off the last M.O.T or the Document Reference number off the V5 then you can check it out online. Also check on the Number plates for a postcode or do an online search for the letters in the reg to see where it was originally supplied/registered. Might point you in the direction of a bit of history. Hope this helps a bit. Oh and make a note of previous owners details on V5 and try directory enquiries.
  2. Superb craftsmanship. looks great! Thanks for posting photos and company details.
  3. Roll just the edge of the belt over first then gradually feed the rest through. So roll it inside the seatbelt bit. Don't fold it and then try to force the seatbelt bit over it. Patience and it will go. Hope that makes sense! Ignore the Vaseline suggestions, you'll get arrested.
  4. I,m liking this idea too. Low tech but effective.
  5. Welcome. Azure, the best colour!
  6. Are the cats armed in Glasgow LRF 4N???
  7. Great idea DoogyRev, but isn't that just going to soak ME everytime I get in or out of the car?? I'll be a nervous wreck!!!
  8. Bl**dy H*ll Tarmac, I was just about to pm you for your PayPal details and order 50 litres of the stuff!!! Thanks for feromone advice though. Not sure neighbour will appreciate me trying to drown their cat as part of some cognitive behaviour therapy experiment cmck13!!
  9. Every time I come home in the zed and park it on the drive, a neighbour's cat thinks it's a good idea to sit on the nice warm bonnet. At first I couldn't understand where the small scratches were coming from until I saw the over weight terror scrambling up the side of the car!!! The last thing I want to do is cause the cat ANY distress, but was thinking of buying one of those electronic deterrents. NOT a cattle prod or electric fence, just one that emits some sort of ultrasonic frequency. So , Question, has anyone used one of these and does it work??. Please, Please, HUMANE, NON LETHAL, KIND, ANIMAL FRIENDLY, NON BIN RELATED, CUDDLY suggestions only.
  10. Just try to park mine away from others or next to something expensive. That's why we go shopping in the van
  11. Front page of our local paper under "freedom of information etc" stated that last year 95% of burglaries in our area went unsolved and no one charged or arrested!!! 95% !!!!!!! Its all down to points for prizes performance related b*ll. Same points for catching a speeding motorist as it is for a crackhead burglar. Which would you rather try catching? What is happening to this country Rant over, Sorry

  13. If only for the girl holding the rear wiper motor that looks suspiciously like a wheel!!
  14. LOL. My sons best friends parents turned up on my doorstep after we got back from Mod Live, with the £1200 Corsa they had bought for him. Could only get 3rd and 4th. Had a look , gear linkage snapped!! I Suggested it might be his driving style Again all credit to garage, they agreed to fix it F.O.C.
  15. She's not wrecked the Fiesta already
  16. Spotted you at Broken Cross roundabout at 6.15 pm. Was in the van so didn't wave in case you thought it was a case of road rage!! or a stalker!! Spotted someone from the club at last!
  17. Like Neilp, I have never had any problems. I have lived and worked in Russia and Ukraine over a number of years, without any incidents like this. Although some of the things described are terrible, they happen in cities all around the world, including this country. I think it just seems worse in a foreign country because you are not in the same comfort zone that you would be in on home soil. (If that makes any sense.) It's the sad world we live in unfortunately.
  18. Very nice! A credit to you. Look out for George Michael on last pic!
  19. Good roadsters are fetching £60k plus now!
