Very interesting reading I have just bought a 55 plate and it was registered 3 days before the higher tax bracket. I didn't do my research as I went to look at an Audi TT but my one was parked next to it and as it was 4 years newer with 50k miles less than the TT I bought it. Luckily I got the GT, didn't even realise there was another model Pleased with it but needs more power I am slowly going through the site picking up snippets of info Glad I became a member cheers guys and girls

Thanks for the welcome messages, car will be standard this summer as going through the dreaded divorce but next winter things will start happening on the performance side, have a few tail out track sessions to do first and kill some rubber

I bought my old man one of these, much better for cars than my Karcher one as this one leave the stickers and badges in place as not quite so powerful Can't go wrong for that money and comes with accessory bottle for foam and quick fittings for the hose Bargain

But if you remove the factory security and the car is stolen, I don't fancy your chances at getting a payout

I got it from a Mazda garage, this bloke had a kid and nowhere for the child seat hahahaha Wheels are now black while I save up for some after market ones, if I can find any I like without needing spacers to clear the brakes. A bit lacking in power, as I am used to 400BHP+, but the handling is pretty neutral so can use all the power it has more of the time

Hi all Well I have been racing and building Cosworths and Lotus's for over 25 years and am\was technical mod on a quite a few sites Having had many Jap peformance cars over the years it was finally the turn of the 350z, I will at a later stage supercharge or turbo it, but for the time being it will remain standard(ish) I hope to gain some knowledge on these cars and perhaps impart a little aswell Anyway enough waffle, and see you all soon Simon Race Engine Preparation
