  1. There's a pair on E bay, think it's your colour,item no. 280702372607
  2. FANTASTIC marketing strategy..... First create an air of mystery and suspense....... BRILLIANT!
  3. Don't worry about the seats, there's a pair of Brides just come up in the "For Sale" section.
  4. Hi, will these fit a 55 plate, i.e pre facelift? Cheers
  5. I'm pretty sure that if you have reasonable grounds (in your case I'm sure you do!!) you can write to the DVLA and find out who the registered keeper of a vehicle is. If you have an incident number this might help. Really worth pursuing IMHO. If you were one of those conspiracy theory types you might think that the police don't want to pursue it because it was one of their's off duty
  6. Ricey said. Couldn't have put it better! Now go out and give it a big hug and say your back in love again!!!
  7. Would be happy to recommend: MG Coachworks ltd Macclesfield Sk11 7JP 01625 502855 Just had both bumpers painted and bonnet. Very reasonable price. Excellent colour match in Azure and even sorted a small stone chip at the same time FOC, Ask Marzman about Whittles in Macc as well.
  8. Sometimes Channel Island and Isle of man cars show up on some data bases as "imports" even though they are essentially uk cars. Service book and supplying dealer stamp will shed more light hopefully.
  9. Pretty sure V5 will state "declared new at first registration" for non import and "previously registered and or used overseas" for an import.
  10. I think it would come under social domestic and pleasure!!!
  11. That's what I was trying to get my head round. Hopefully the new rule will go some way towards getting uninsured drivers off the road and people like the OP trying to get dodgy cover on some blanket trade policy. I am assuming and hoping that there now has to be some sort of individual record of each cars insurance status or it has to be declared sorn.
  12. So presumably the car reg and details would be specifically recorded with the insurance company, who would the car be registered to?
  13. On a serious note about insurance, shouldn't this new rule about the car must be sorn or insured start to make this sort of thing more difficult.??
  14. Emergency fuel flap release hidden behind trim panel in boot???
  15. I think I'm right in saying that the 06 front bumper also has a different grill and easiest to spot a recess in the centre lower part.
  16. Just do a quick text check on the reg. I think it's 8600 or 83600 (check on google) only costs about £3.00 but better than a day wasted and the fuel. As regards the price, this is what they seem to be going for now. Punch the reg in to "we buy any car .com" for a quick reference.
  17. Coldel said.... Are you sure you didn't hear the accident and stub your toe getting out of bed or twist your neck?? Maybe your still having flashbacks?? I'm sure you've still got a very strong case.
  18. Thanks Coppz and any one else who read. PANIC OVER!!!! Sussed it, I was trying to put it back in the wrong way round!!!! Moto........ take a picture first, rather than ask for ones in desperation.

    Great photos!! Thanks for posting.
  20. Hi chaps, In my over enthusiasm to clean things, I have taken off the petrol flap and rubber that goes round the filler cap inside. Problem is i can't remember how the round rubber seal goes. If any one could find it in their hearts to take a close up picture, i would be hugely appreciative. Or even tell me where the little sticky out rubber protrusion goes. i.e 6 o'clock , 9 o;clock etc. Thanks in advance.
  21. I have had some work done by a company in Macclesfield called MG Coachworks. Excellent job. Marzman can recommend another in Macclesfield but I have forgotten the name. Whittles??
