Go up a page to the 350z parts listing --- I posted a link to the detail on the site so peeps could see what I copied.

High-Power LED Rear Turn Signal / Fog / Reverse Combination Lights
Actually $1150 a pair plus $50 post in USA
misquoted the price from memory
It should be ok as I have used an online calculator for the resistor values per 4 leds in series.
Forward voltages were checked across a few parts as they can vary and were averaged.
Forward current was limited to 10ma (even thouigh 20ma was allowable) to reduce heat output.
I think even with 84 leds in each indicator I should be well below the heat the 21 watt original indicator put out.
At 3 hours each side though they will never be a volume product
Yup, A blatant rip off of the clear corners ones but not at $1300 per pair.
I will get some photos of them lit up posted soon They look great and work well,
Just a bit concerned about how good my soldering is on 300+ leds. and how long they will last.
Just a quick peek at the latest mod.
Thanks to Leonk for supplying a cheap set of indicators to try this out on.
Custom laser cut aluminium plates,
Hand formed to fit,
Lots of lovely Amber, Red and Clear leds,
Lots of soldering
After owning a stainless fabrication business for 8 years I can safely say that Tigging thin stainless certainly is a difficult skill to learn if you are putting wire into the weld.
Fuse welding ( just melting close fitting bits together is lots easier ) however neither give off any nasty fumes.
In fact its the cleanest welding possible, using stainless wire melted into the melted components being welded.
A dc electric arc gives the heat needed to melt the stainless steel with a tungsten electrode and nitrogen/argon shield gas ( tungsten inert gas TIG ).
You can get a scratch start dc inverter for about £150 to start with.
Essentially its a stick welder which you reverse the earth and live welding cables. ie use a +ve earth when welding tig.
Its also possible to tig weld with a 12v car alternator Check out the interweb for a how to. There's bound to be one somewhere.
Anyone upgraded to clear ones and got a spare set of standard ones to sell.
I'm a skin flint so cheap as chips please.
I'm after the indicators in the bumper not the brake lights.
Thought I had some but when I got there they were brake lights
and sold.
Please complain!
I had a Manta GTE coupe park next to me many years ago.
Had a chat to the owner and asked how much it had cost to jig it up and straighten out the chassis rails I had bent 5 weeks before after taking it over a 2ft drop at about 30mph.
The reply "no mate this was sold at auction as stolen recovered, the headlights and rear speakers were missing"
Yup the same irmsher twin headlight conversion I took out and speakers I removed as part of the payout agreement.
We lifted the bonnet and when you knew where to look the rails were bent up by about 15° just behind the front wheels.
Gave the guy's lawer an affidavid and left them to it but heard later they sued the auction house.
Insurance fraud from another side.
Rant over
Normal service will be resumed after this pint.
