  1. Well not really the easiest way, as the resistors produce heat and you have to be careful where you mount them. It also means messing about with the oem wiring, an electronic flasher unit would just plug in instead of the original if Its a standard 3 or 4 pin unit and I knew where it was
  2. Maybe......... but a thumber I would Knock the back doors out of any day!! Hope the missus doesn't see this! So you wouldn't bang Megan Fox if she was wearing a Primark outfit? nope i can't stand her either, vacuous, and you could stick her in any clothes you like, but she'd still be a thumber.
  3. Well the next step was to PM you Dawg Man, Might try ZmanAlex instead!
  4. I would add that you should treat your £1000 turnover business like its £1,000,000 from day one, put your systems in place early on, order numbers for written purchase orders, sales order numbers for sales, order acknowledgements, expense claim forms and records, once you have staff even if its only one person, holiday forms, sickness records etc. Once you employ 20 people the systems will be there already, and the VAT, and NI will be easy because it will all be recorded, from day one. Your accountant will love you because he is used to getting a cardboard box once a year with everything in and will be able to spend his time reducing your tax bill rather than finding your petrol receipts. God was I really that Anal
  5. I knew someone would be along who knows much more than me about the 350z specific Ballast if I waited long enough,
  6. +1 Get it and bend it till it fits
  7. It seems the price has dropped out of the bottom of the market over the last few months. Petrol prices haven't helped and with the media stating that insurance has gone up by 45% its scaring people off. I wish there had been this many zeds up for sale when I got mine 8 months ago. I got a nice one, but it took ages to find a good one, looks like this one will make someone a very happy bunny. Yokomo is right unfortunately its only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
  8. I think Husky had an oem backbox up for sale for about £100ish painted black with polished tips He also had one cut in half I hope its not the same one
  9. +1 Pick something you have an interest in, something you enjoy, and have experience of. I started with £1000 in a chicken shed and 6 years later was supplying Grand Design staircases for the rich and famous including the King of Bahrain (for the Bahrain Air Show) and turning over £600,000 per year. I sold that business a year ago and it went bump last week. As well as your business idea and skills its all about the people. Employ wisely once you are big enough, and pay for the best you can afford. People are a companies biggest asset.
  10. You could check the bulb by swapping n/s with o/s, if the problem moves you need a new bulb. If it doesn't move swap the ballast's over, then the wiring loom etc until you find the faulty part.
  11. I got the connectors I have been waiting for yesterday and today did a trial fit of the lights into the car. Although they all worked and looked good in the daylight, I found that the loading of the complete indicator unit is not enough to flash the LED's at the correct rate. (Hazards are fine by the way) I could install a load resistor across each one 50w 6ohm seems to be about the right value, but thought it might be possible to change the flasher unit to an electronic one and avoid this. Problem....... I cant find it!! is there one?, or is this another function carried out by the BCM. If it is carried out by the BCM then why does a different resistance value affect the indicator speed as surely the BCM is electronic and shouldn't be affected. I thought someone on here might know, if not then I will have to trawl through 100's of pages of the workshop manual to find out.
  12. Holy thread revival, This was so long ago I forgot id posted and thought someone had hacked my account.
  13. The man he speak sense
  14. I think cols is the same as mine. One piece high quality CNC machined aluminium, with a stick on badge on the top. Great bit of cheap bling Everyone should get one
  15. JDM will be along any minute to tell you how its going to break your engine!!
  16. viewtopic.php?f=41&t=44451
  17. Dont know about WHY but HOW???? Can you fit a roof rack to a Zed
  18. Cheers mate, I have already got some connectors on the way from the states which will plug into where the bulb normally goes, but for £4 I have bought these as well. You never know when they will come in handy and no-one else has any.
  19. How much do you think it'd cost if you were to offer it as a kit ? Expensive but exclusive!
  20. I am booked on one on Monday at Blyton park Get to drive a Ferrari 430, a Murcielago LP640, a Porsche Oakley GT3, a TVR T350, and get a couple of hot laps as a passenger in a race prepared Ascari KZ1-R with a current GT£ driver This is with Supercar Lifestyles for £159.00
  21. Slight delay in fitting these as in the absence of a spare wiring loom I have sent off for some connectors from the states. These are shaped like the bottom of the standard T20 bulbs which will allow the modified lights to plug straight into the wiring harness on the car and avoid the need to modify the car loom in any way. I will get photos up as soon as they arrive. I may be tempted to offer this as a kit if anyone was interested.
  22. I agree this is totally despicable but its not rocket science!!! How many people have changed their own access code to your own voice mail. All it takes to do this is to phone your number and when it goes to voice mail hit hash and then put in the default number i.e. 1234 1111 4321 etc. If you haven't changed yours then anyone who is leaving a message can listen to those already left. Cheaters beware of spouse intervention
  23. I would swap my zed for one any day!! maybee its an age thing but at nearly fifty the old ones still do it for me!!!!!!!
  24. Does anyone have two spare wiring looms for the indicator clusters The ones leonk supplied didn't come with any. If not, does anyone know where the plugs and bulb holders can be purchased -- google is not forthcoming If no one has any........ OF COURSE I WILL PM ZMANALEX
