  1. Having done trips to Portugal, Italy, the Alps, and Scotland, I reckon this could be a gem of a road trip. Should be great fun in any sports/gt car. It's what their for, isn't it? https://mapsengine.g...a4.kywhBfNEB1uA
  2. As above; does anyone ever drive their cars?
  3. Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDci - one of the best cars I ever had. 50mpg. Good performance and reliability. Plenty on Pistonheads.
  4. Anyone on here own this car?
  5. I bought one of these but if you want to read number plates, I believe you need 1000p or higher. http://cgi.ebay.co.u...E:X:RTQ:GB:1123
  6. I might be. The guys I went with last year aren't interested or are unable to tour again this year. I fancy doing the Pyrenees this year but prefer to do it within a group.
  7. Where is the link for this run?
  8. Good luck with organising your trip. Remember to plan your timing of the Stelvio carefully. It is often jammed with cyclists, motorhomes and general traffic. For me, other passes like the Furka, Susten, Nufenen, Oberlap and Gr. St. Bernard were just as much fun to drive and a lot less traffic..
  9. Quite happy with this: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...ME:L:OC:GB:3160 but TomS is right. You need 1080p to read number plates.
  10. Silver 350Z in Cromer, Norfolk - Sunday, 8th Dec. early afternoon.
  11. Spotted at the Cambridge Supercar Event. Would have been nice to meet the owner but didn't know who he was.
  12. Silver coupe spotted Cromer high street yesterday.
  13. I get a lot of static on the audio which increases with speed of the car, not the engine. The wiring runs down the A-pillar, past the steering wheel to the cigarette lighter. Ideas? I have two different makes of cameras and they both do the same.
  14. Never mind the mileage. This used to mine and it is in excellent condition and has been well cared for. http://www.burtonjoycecars.co.uk/used-cars/search-results?make=NISSAN&model=350+Z
  15. Saw these on E-bay. Seem quite cheap. http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649
  16. I revised the price of my wheels and put them on E-bay just in case.... http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649
  17. Anyone reading you would think you are the Chris Harris of the 350 Zed forum. Are you? Surely the beauty of a car is in the eye of the beholder. Yours is only one tiny opinion. I've not driven the Evora or a 911 so will have to take your word on the handling. Does the Evora or the 911 have 4 seats and a large boot?
  18. As has already been said, this looks ok at the moment. If you had a real problem you'd have been down to the low mark on your dipstick - or even lower - after 1400 miles. If you're at all concerned, make a table in a Word file, check your oil every week and keep a tally in the Word file. This will give you a clear, objective picture over a period of time and it will also help any garage/mechanic if you ever need to do anything about it. Trust me, the hi-rev engines that had this problem were losing oil at a far greater rate than this. You are using oil, but it's manageable at his stage. I don't want to worry you unduly, but some of the hi-rev engines started off with no problem and then suddenly developed it. So, keep a regular eye on your dipstick. Good advice. When I had my 350 Zed and used to take it to the Continent, it used to use about 1.5 litres in 3500 miles and when it came back last year, it had 97k on the clock. The car is still for sale which is not too much use to you (just an aside for those worrying about buying cars with high mileage). Hope you don't have a problem after following the advice above. Good luck
  19. I traded this one in for a GTR and I can safely say that it is a wonderful car and has been well loved and cared for by me. It would be nice to see it go to someone on the forum who would do the same. I have no financial interest with the dealer. Just a bit soft on the car. http://www.burtonjoycecars.co.uk/used-cars/search-results?make=NISSAN&model=350+Z
  20. http://www.litchfiel...n-GTR-Servicing This one, if you're interested
  21. Strange. Mobil 1 0W-40 is the recommended oil for GTRs by Nissan and Litchfields.
