  1. How far north? Not near Cromer by any chance? There's one in my village. Is it you?
  2. Having done 3000 miles along the Pyrenees and around France in June, and Scotland in August, I need to get one more in before winter. It's like a drug. So, 4 days driving and sightseeing in the Black Forest plus a couple of days doing some passes in Switzerland is on the cards for mid September.
  3. I just had 1 x 32gb card in each camera and downloaded each days driving on the laptop.
  4. Thanks. Over to Brittany, down the west coast of France, east from Bayonne over the Cols de le Gourette, d'Aubisque and Tourmalet into Spain, through Vielha down to Tremp, across to Cardona, up to Llanca. Then up through the Gorge du Verdon to Castellane, the northern half of the Route de Napoleon to Digne up to the Haute Savoie taking in the Col du Galibier and home via Burgundy and Reims. It's what 350's, 370's and GTRs are made for.

  6. Just got back on Sunday from this: https://mapsengine.g...-E.k24xn76cNeuU
  7. At last! Someone who actually intends to drive their car to somewhere where the roads aren't crap and crowded. I was beginning to think this forum was just for bling junkies.
  8. https://mapsengine.g...-E.k24xn76cNeuU Halfway around now at Castellane. Will do part of the Route de Napoleon to Digne then the Col du Galibier before heading home via Burgundy and Rheims. Some fantastic roads in the Spanish Pyrenees.
  9. Modest as well? ...........and you sure know how to hurt someone
  10. Blimey, how could we forget? You know everything.
  11. Well why didn't you say so then! Been to Scotland with my dad for a week long road trip, but that's in the UK, and on our own, whereas your pic shows a European mountain pass with some mates, does mine count?!? Would have thought so. We did Scotland last September and it was fantastic too.
  12. Just got back from 3 days in Wales last week and looking forward to the Pyrenees in June.
  13. Proper driving I meant.
  14. Apart from the Wales trip and going to a few meets to show off your engines and body bits, does anyone actually drive their cars anywhere? Just asking......
  15. Just got back from a little Welsh warm-up to put us in the mood for the Pyrenees in June.
  16. Quite agree. I'm planning on doing the Pyrenees in June
  17. Certainly does give plenty of time for planning. We'll probably have done at least two by the time yours comes around.
  18. Seems to be a fault with the video. Agree, you wouldn't tell much about the road in those conditions. Another option do French side one way and Spanish the other.
  19. When did you drive on the French side of the Pyrenees and do you have a video of the tight poorly maintained roads? Was it last year? I'll disregard the comments of your buddy Wasso. You know what they say about opinions...
  20. Having worked in France for a good number of years, I have to disagree with you.
  21. Yes, this is the one currently recommended on PH but large parts of the N 260 appear to be wide straight roads or at the very best some sweeping bends. The most interesting bit appears to be between Biescas and Broto on the N 260A https://maps.google....08bcfdb5832a2c4 However, on the French side, the road between Laruns and Argeles-Gazost appears more interesting to me. https://maps.google....768fd8b21b418b0 PH also recommended picking up the road from Vielha towards Perpignan as that was a particularly good stretch.
  22. Couple of us are doing this at the end of June. https://mapsengine.g...a4.kywhBfNEB1uA
  23. Corrected it for you. Corrected again.
