Haha just been able to see the rest of this, its fine Steve post away (you could have posted the one where I kept up a bit for the beginning but noo you post the utter annihilation vid ). Yeah was mainly down to the driver and the fact I didn't think of the bright idea ot use the handbrake as it kept rolling lol But what it does show for the relevance of the post is the Zed is not an easy thing to pick away in. Even when you get a good launch you feel sorry for the poor thing cos its so harsh. Forget your 0-60... mid-range punch that's where you'll enjoy your car!
-
He's right with that, the Zeds deceivingly fast, but where you notice it most is mid-range, overtaking etc (when its safe of course!). Its more a powerhouse brute than an outright speed machine

You don't need a winter car, I got past most stuff with the help of these bad boys... lol

Now, we all like a b*tch on the forum so this is mine for the day lol. Maybe not so much a b*tch but a ...pondering wonder. The last Golf R, I quite liked the look of, big grils on the bumper signified your in something a bit different, looked good. Heres some pics of the new Golf R.... now look at that front grill and bumper... and tell me it doesn't say 'I drive a Golf 1.4 Diesel...' lol. It just doesn't look sporty at all, as if they haven't bothered?... They do make up for it at the rear with....4 pipes! ...yet it still doesn't look right or that special. I thought they'd make it look a bit more 'hardcore' than this. Anyone else with me on this? http://www.autoblog....r/#photo-847560 I dunno if its the straight line grill design thing that VW are flowing with just now, they've got it on the CC too and just looks..cheap to me.

Liking the shot in the dark! Good job you 'modded' those wheels before Ekona found out your posting stock pics

Saw this about 1pm-ish at the Fort when I went in for sum stuff. Took a quick snap while walking by.

....annoyed isnt the word....(NOT annoyed anymore!)
AMT replied to SkylineV35's topic in 350Z General
£2800 a year?! OMG lol. Hope you get everything sorted...at a reasonable price! -
I think if you crack over 86mph then your in for big trouble lol. Below that should be a fine I think... but don't quote me! Hope it turns out ok (well as much as it can)

Sometimes you just get a 'good' pic and wanna share it. I for example haven't been down the moffat road lately on a nice evening yet... parked up down some of those hills/valleys def deserves a wee pic or two (eg. in point the signature thing at the bottom... I quite like that pic next to the windmills! )

Its so grey I LOVE it... and I want you all to enjoy it! Its a car forum! What do you think people are gonna do lol So heres my completely stock 313...in GREY...with an AERIAL... oh no...sorry I have rear tints too Am just playin but I do think this is a bit of a moany thread Ekona! lol But, on a more serious note I think a lot of people on here who join don't mind seeing varying colours, stock or minor mods, gives them an idea what they want to do or if they want to get the car. I remember when I joined I looked over a good few ones and juggled between the 276,300 and 313 over minor differences to see which I liked most, what looked newer, which would stay 'fresher' lookin' etc.

350z - Spinning sound from clutch when in neutral !
AMT replied to timb2010's topic in 350Z Technical
Mines since I bought it a year ago has made a slight noise on when you come off the clutch but dies away after a few secs, had it for ages its been in a decent garage twice and not heard a bad thing about it. The Zed can make a good few noises (clatter if your off the clutch too quick, that noise im on about, clunky shift from 1st to second when cold etc) so just make sure it def needs changed. The Zeds a dead mechanical kinda car, nothings really smooth about it lol There may be plenty of life left in it, but...as with anything we can't really tell unless someone sees/hears it also. Hope its nothing too bad mate! -
Very nice. Wouldn't mind seeing a drag between the two. The F1 looks so nice though, no fancy add on bits, just a nice shape that still looks good today
-
Shocking amount of ...non-Zed driving! Maybe the Zed needs someone who'll flog it a bit more But yeah I agree, take it for a blast n' see how you feel, but if its sitting gathering dust... what else you gonna do with it?
-
Today about 4:15 headin' west, I was directly on the other side headin' east. lol hensh65?

Yeah I have noticed in the few ive been in (early ones) its not as expensive as you would think...still pretty lookin tho lol. Who was it on here that had the DB9 convertible? I remember seeing that in someones pic (dark green one??)
-
Is that car chromed??? lol

I'VE BEEN SPOTTED!!!! YASSS FIRST TIME.... lol haha. I was out with my friend a run cos' he was hungry... so default to mcds and some 'people watching'. Also noticed a silver Audi R8 pulled in with a couple of teeny boppers in it lol. Dunno if you seen that?

What do you mean after 10 yrs!... Mines makes noise now haha. Nah would never buy a Porsche (and im being honest!) ... I'm more of an Aston man. You may be right with something there about the spartness and focus of the interior though!... I like something to look sporty and kinda..'worth' while, substantial...even if its cheap materials as long as it looks the part. I think its the 'sparteness' (is tht a word?)...of Porsche interiors I dislike the most... there just not exciting.... a straight down rectangle slab dash with buttons, and a square passenger dash bit, a dunno..just don't like it. I will stick with the grey colour though...terrible. But you may have nailed my issue with it being sparten...

Also case in point.... http://www.instablogsimages.com/1/2012/05/31/1338455601.jpg and http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/2007/06/07/14/33/2007_nissan_350z-pic-3742.png Small touches make the difference I think. You may not agree but meh... lol

DBlock I'd go so far as to say I'd rather sit in a 350Z (facelift mind you) than any Cayman/Boxter... have you sat in one? Have you seen how bad they look?? And how many times you gonna jump in with that lol Just because I have a Nissan doesn't mean the cayamans interior isn't crap..which it is. Theres loads of stuff I could say is crap. One of my family members used to work within Auctions and brought home a DB9, it had the dark royal red leather (cant mind its exact name)...and it does not age well at all, and the original silver...more dull greyish centre part and turn knobs looked cheap as hell... wanna have a pop at that too?? lol Shh Dblock shh (am only playin mate)... but the caymans interior is crap, theres no doubt. as much excitement as sitting inside a plastic box. http://eng.namonitore.ru/wallpapers/big/salon_porsche_cayman_1280.html That... looks cheap to me, by a mile. It might not actually be cheap but certainly looks it, in this case I think its def the grey colour. still hate the centre dash. Came on leaps and bounds though... love this new look! http://stwot.motortrend.com/files/2012/11/2013-Porsche-Cayman-interior-1024x640.jpg

I'm sorry - I couldn't understand a word of that (quotes not working) ..... lol

Last time I checked the white line part wasn't a lane.... idiot. And yes, why wasn't he slowing down miles before this?! I have friends who are bikers and they can be good fun, but for the love of god.. STAY IN A LANE AND STOP GOING UP THE MIDDLE! People say...you should be looking in your mirrors... yes but bikes are that small and quick to come up the middle they'll come up when you've already took your glance. Its not as 'easy' as 'just looking'. Does my head in, stay in lane please, you'll die otherwise lol
-
Porsche interiors (and despite note owning one, ive been in quite a lot lol) are generally horrid looking. Possibly simplistic? but I get the deal with the original post, for the price you want some decent looking colour, shapes, design. I'd rather have an Audi-esq interior than a Porsche. Especially early caymans etc...or tbh all caymans/boxters... grey and dull and lifeless. A lot can be done with tiny changes such as the shade of a colour. The 350Z HRs seem just that bit more "classy" than the 276 plain material, black and all it is, is a lighter colour and the plastics have a "finish" to them, like woven crap or whatever. BUT the new 911 with its transmission tunnel thing, looks great! Still not sure on their chrome steering wheels though lol

Skipped most of this but... a blue Z4?! I just saw you a while back at Coopers with a black one!! lol Get a Zed Nah jk mate, nice one.
