Go for a 313, the engines worth it. Also I wouldn't worry too much about resale value, Zeds are not exactly expensive for what they are. They shouldn't be bought as an investment IMO . (personally I hate the GT4 wheels..). Go for a 313, the extra facial tweeks make a difference to the looks and so does the bonnet bulge lol Tax... you shouldn't be worrying about it on a 23mpg-ish car lol EDIT - Having said that I went through the 276 or313 thoughts too, but I'm glad I stumped up for a 313

Thats fine, I think I spoke to them last year (struggling to remember what they said) but I'm sure they said they don't use Auto Glass, they'd only contribute as they use their own 'preferred' company.... which I'm led to believe is National Windscreens, but I'll be phoning tonight to see whats what. Just wante dto check previous Admiral experience to see. Think I'm just paranoid about them not fitting it right with squeeks, leaks etc Plus just got my wing fixed so don't want them scratching it either lol

Tonight phoning Admiral about windscreen replacement (can't be repaired). Has anyone with Admiral had their screen replaced? Was there any issues at all or since and is it National Windscreens they use? Thanks if anyone can give me any information!

Its def not a light bit of plastic, must just be a crap seal or movement under heat or something ...wasn't there today lol I'll live with it, just thought I'd ask anyway

Tbh I don't hear it most of the time with the 'tunes' going but anybody have the same issue with the rear window creaking? I mean its not falling out but the seals must be moving or something cos you hear a creaking noise....irritating lol. Just thought I'd ask...

Just checked your thread Kris, def doesn't sound like a disc shield. Mines doesn't sound like dragging or rubbing. its a tick with a gap in the middle as I turn slowly. Anyone know if any of the steering components would make such a noise?? It seems directly when i use the steering under good amount of lock or on its way to full lock. like...somethings tightening up?

Not long til my spark plug service so prob get it checked then but from time to time (usually I hear it on slow moving turns) I can hear a metallic ticky noise as I'm turning the wheel. Any ideas?

Dunno if it'll change but Zed prices, even the crap ones and oldest 2003-04 ones bottom out at about £4.5-5K Not bad for a car that wasn't a huge some of money in the first place and most will likely buy second hand lol

Just had a quick check and yep your right. They did have a slightly faster updated ones at 6-6.5 secs but I was surprised first time I learned that. I just 'expected' a big Merc GT thing like that to have more shove. Meh lol 7 secs tho for a fairly modern SL just seems....slow but I can't say much as its my first 'decent' performance car (my 350Z). I still think the SL's look the part, love the swoopy dash (even if clad in old button gear)

Depends - mine has done a thing since I got it. If you drop it with the 'one shot' all the way down, it sometimes won't go up first time unless you give it a little pull 'manually' a notch then it goes up. Always done it, never bothers me.

I looked at these randomly one day as it does seem like a good bit of car for the money. Right wheels, right colour it looks just as good as today, was behind one last week. BUT yes they can be expensive to fix so I prob wouldn't do it. And ...correct me if I'm wrong, bearing in mind I just glanced at figures, the 350Z on the older SL350s, is slightly quicker in performance?
