  1. Basically the box is coming off regardless.....just hope its the CSC and nothing else. That said you might as well inspect the clutch and DMF whilst its off and make the decision. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. Can i just make an outthere statement that often tis the shed that holds the greatest place in your heart. Ive always loved my sheds. They never fail to impress. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. Did you do what Ekona says? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  4. You know what if that is a sign of a garage actually taking on some feedback and doing something about it then fair do's to them Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  5. I really couldnt bother my arse tl be honest guys get a decent ceramic coating or wheel sealant and save the hassle. Your average hand car wash does more damage in one wash than a whole winter of salt. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. For me the SLK beats the zed in terms of quality, performance (just if you believe the figures), being a nice place to sit, looks (not a soft top fan myself), probably running costs if an indie is used, equipment, style, prestige. Zed wins hands down in not exuding the image of the driver having a vagazzle Id be driving the zed. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  7. How much did this cost fella? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

  9. This is amazing! But I live on the other side of the country sadly 😔😔 thankyou for the offer though, not many people would go out their way ! I can get you one if you need mate Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Absolute total win of a car Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. If you can get a membership you want the costco jack. Think its 85 quid but its awesome. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. I've seen ceramic being sanded off. Gtechniq Crystal Cerum in particular. We as pro detailers have to give a personal warranty (certainly for the SiRamik ATP system that Hugh is having) to cover the 5 years. Ceramic will only provide protection and durability as well as its looked after. Bladder it with caustic chemicals and using abrasive wash techniques then yes it won't stop you getting swirls and it won't last as long as advertised. As for durability this is my test car for the baby SiRamik product SC15 (Hugh is having the daddy version). 12 months in and 1 top up coat at 6 months of SC Mist which costs about £19.95 for a bottle. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1866268156935334&id=1483558688539618 Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. How much are those could you pm me a picture? Will do when I get back. Just a thought...is yours a GT? These are from a boggo with no cruise control Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. Hugh I think Russ who owns siramik lives in Sheffield. His website is Proreflect I think. Quite a few of us approved detailers though. The ATP system is about a £275- £300 uplift on whatever prep is required (usually a single stage polish on a new car) Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  15. I've got a pair of hydro dipped ones in Mcarbon back at the unit. You can buy them and save yourself the hassle :-) Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. Seriously every time I put the wheel back on a customers car I end up second guessing myself over and over if I torqued them up. I end up going round a car about 3 times rechecking. Such an easy but critical thing to do. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  17. I wouldn't panic too much if it's occasional and no slip. At some point it's gonna need doing mate but if you've got any concerns let Chris have a look and he'll tell you if it's drastic. Could be a bit of chatter from the flywheel. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  18. Chris can replace it for you mate. He's done a few of the zeds. Pretty sure it was under a grand (he's not VAT reg so always a bit cheaper) Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  19. As for recommended Obvs I'm SiRamik approved so I would recommend the ATP protection system. Should be looking iro £395. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  20. I'd find a new detailer on that case. Autoglum is bang average at best. Under no circumstances accept the dealer crud even if it's free. Poorly apply coatings can be worse than no costing. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  21. Having spoken to Olly about this since it happened I've advised him not to say who supplied the parts until it's resolved or the team look into it (which I belive they are). Either way he may not feel the need to say who supplied him. End of the day Tarmac has stepped in and helped him out and he's made up with the motor so it's a positive resolution I guess. 22. Very cool mate Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. Tapatalk won't let me see a decent image but I'm guessing rear wheel arch. £450 for near oem quality paint on a wheel arch blended into the bumper (which of your not blending you're mad....it is HIGHLY unlikely to match) is VERY cheap. For this to be done properly it needs either Whole quarter painting with a base coat patch on the damaged area then a bumper corner blend/blow in Or blend with entire bumper lacquer If your painter is good enough a blend to bumper will do but it's a bleeding skill ill tell you Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Rev up Engine

Make sure he knows the right way to fit the flywheel! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
