  1. Ummm how can I put this. Went to hooters in Nottingham a couple of years ago and the only compliment I could give for the waitress we had was "motherly". Really didn't suit in that tight top and tiny shorts. Have a great stag do.
  2. Totally agree, the roads around guildford are a nightmare. I swear that when a pothole gets too big they just end up building a sleeping policeman over it. Never had a car shake so much. Compared to Europe it's embarrassing.
  3. Will the drugs your taking be included in the sale price of the car? man what a car, wonder if he will consider a Part Ex
  4. Saw him at trax at silverstone this weekend. He was just about to do the bottle trick when he had a rather nasty incident with a huge concrete breeze block, at which point he limped off. Good news the bottle survived
  5. ummmm welsh lamb and sticky toffee pudding for me. Cheers Colin
  6. Ok i should really stop reading that menu, my stomach has started rumbling. Lol Darren, i have no comment to make about car keys swapping partners and lay-by's. Didnt know it was going to be that kind of weekend
  7. andyzed, thanks for the information. From that other thread it does look like the roadsters have a problem. Pity had a saab convertible before this and it could be in the middle of a force 10 gale and not let a drop in. Still it doesnt sound like the zed. Garage have said they will keep it until its waterproof and i couldnt ask for more than that. I guess if it continues to be a problem i will look to exchange, trade in for a coupe. Pity as i love the look of the roadster. Still, im an optimist and the garage will have it back all 100% watertight in no time im sure.

    Problem

Sorry to hear you have those problems, hope someone close by can help you out. Good luck getting it all sorted in the near future.

    Trax Pics

uploaded some new pics to the earlier post - loved the black zed, pity it was parked so far from the others, only found it as we were leaving
  10. I wish, I think trying to get the 370 for wales would be taking the Mikey lol.
  11. Yep, it was a nissan dealer and it was all included like yours. Its just the company that throws in the 7 day insurance have changed their policy on what vehicles they include in their 7 day free insurance....which is a bit poo for me. The dealership were shocked as they have had a few 370's come through fine with the 7 day free insurance just over a month ago. Ouch bad luck, still will be sweeter when you finally get it.
  12. To be honest as soon as you get in that car you will forget the price you paid and will keep smiling. Enjoy.
  13. Did you get it from a Nissan dealer. When I bought my car 5 weeks ago they automatically included free 7 day insurance to avoid all the hassle of organising full cover during the change over. They said it was now a Nissan standard policy. Great idea and avoids silly hassles of faxing policy cover notes etc.
  14. It's a very friendly bunch here who are all happy to help out and offer tips and advice. Really handy for new people like me. It's been great. First thing I can recommend is get yourself along to one of the meetings. There's a great one coming up on the 18 th 19 th september in wales. Be a great chance to break in the car. If you thought you enjoyed your zed now just wait till you get in a convoy of them. It's great. Not only does a zed purchase get you a car that makes you constantly smile like an idiot but you get to meet a lot of new friends with a common love of cars, good roads and proper beer. Enjoy.
  15. Welcome, go get yourself a zed you won't regret it
  16. Wb to the forum, you made the right decision in the end. Kuros roadster, excellent choice, I can recommend them. They look great in black but are a pig to keep clean. Enjoy.

    Trax Pics

Great pics, was an enjoyable day. Popped over to the zeds but no one was home. That vw with the viper engine was hilarious. Some nice cars there, I had to let my mate have a quiet personal moment with one of the rx-7's. That world champion drifter was impressive, that was until he broke his car. Hope you all had a good day. Here are a couple of shots my friends and i took Loved the number plate Loved this badge
  18. Wow that looks amazing, excellent work. Nice job.
  19. Keeping up with Colin is easier said than done Really looking forward to the weekend, not too far away and good to see more people signing up. Can't wait either. To avoid memorising the road I was hoping to find an attractive young welsh bridesmaid the night before at my friends wedding in Aberystwyth who could be my co-driver for the day
  20. Lol you read my mind. Thanks for all the comments and tips guys. Really appreciate it. Sorry to hear you had a similar if not worse experience wasso, really takes the shine off. The 370 should put it straight back on again though.
  21. Update for you. Spoke to the original garage that sold the car, who as I say have been excellent so far. They said the leak was totally unacceptable and offered to pay for another local specialist garage to fix it rather than travel to them which was nice. Alternatively I could take it back to them and they would sort it ( wish I had taken them up on this originally rather than try to sort it locally). I agreed to this as they know the car. Conversation went: Them " don't worry we will keep the car for a few days to test and make sure it's fixed, that problem is unacceptable" Me " thank you that is just what I wanted to hear" Them " I assume you will be wanting a courtesy car." Me " oooo yes that would be nice thank you." Them " no problem already sorted, how would you like a 370" Me " ......pardon......you serious" Them " totally" I get a 370 for a couple of days, I get my lovely zed back all fixed, and lastly it will be all valeted ready for wales. I can finish the day with a big smile. Huge thumbs up to the Nissan dealer in tunbridge wells.
  22. Welcome to the forum, enjoy your new toy
  23. Colin, you are an absolute star, that post exactly describes the problem. Must admit am a little scared of pulling the car apart to fix it (never had to touch previous cars except to put oil in, never even had to change a tyre in nearly 17 years of driving - although saying that has most probably blown all my luck) but I will test it out and see what i can do. Thanks again i will update you on progress. A few bits of tape sounds alot cheaper than £530. Want it all sorted for Wales, because as we all kow it never rains in wales Will
  24. Given they ordered the wrong part 3 times im guessing they don't know either I can only presume that he wants to replace the entire rubber trim going up the drivers door which seems a little excessive. I remember him saying when i first took the car in that if that is the case then the entire trim along the front windscreen to the passenger side also has to be replaced. Knowing my luck that could create far more problems than it solves. Tempted to take it back to the original dealers and say fix it or its coming back your way. From initial investigations it seems they are happy to do this and wanted to, its just its soooo far away. Quick solution with the local dealer seems to have resulted in me shooting myself in the foot. Still can't work out where the water is actually getting in beneath the rubber, may have to experiment tonight. Will post pics if i get any results.
  25. lol i feel like this thread has turned into a therapy session go for it. May name and shame and possibly give a big thumbs up to the respective dealers depending on how this issue is resolved.
