RAC 02 now discontinued. It was my Christmas present and I expect that Caroline got it at a decent price.
Ah, here we go.

Thanks guys, some good feedback there. Seeing as I want to keep within the law and hide the camera as well I'll try the 3M tape (mainly because Caroline keeps it in stock )

Call me old fashioned but I keep a contingency fund of 2k in case anything goes wrong with my Zed, if I was to go for a £40k GTR then I'd have to up that fund to 10k, you can't run these things on a shoestring,

I'm posting this under 350Z general as this is related to the 350Z in a roundabout way. I've read that its not legal to have the dashcam where it can be seen by the driver unless you switch the screen off, sadly you can't do this with mine. The problem I have is that while the rubber sucker will stick to the windscreen where its clear I can't get it to stick where it needs to go, that is behind the rear view mirror. This is because of the raised black dots affixed to the windscreen (what purpose are they there for?). How do you get around this without having to resort to adhesive?
Thanks.

Caroline bought me one of these for Christmas.

She bought it on the strength of the reviews. I've yet to fit it as the weather has been foul but I've charged it up and had a play around with it and it looks very good. Anyone have any tips on the best/neatest way of wiring it up?

Yeah, not much left free to air these days. Olympic games have gone to Eurosport from 2024 and we've seen a drip, drip of high profile sports going to Sky and now BT. Sad, but BBC can't compete.

Indeed they are, they are also allocated number plates by The DVLA so that they don't show up on any search. I also read that phone numbers that might flash on during TV shows like Eastenders are special numbers that BT keep for them

Spotted in ASDA Queensferry, one was a 57 reg Twilight Grey HR and the other one was a Silver 06 roadster, probably Juggalo's parked up not far from mine.

When I was 4 my mum and dad took me to see Peter Pan, apparently I was so frightened we had to leave before the end .
Anyway, watched a film a few says ago called "The Day", pretty horrific.

Even warmer in The States, 21 degrees forecast for Washinton D.C. What we have is a very strong jetstream locked into position by the most unseasonable temperatures on the East Coast of America. There is very little prospect of any major change in our current weather until mid January at the earliest.

Those were made by a member on here, RTBiscuit, about 4 years ago. From memory he sold about 15-20 of them. He's no longer active on the forum sadly.

It would seem that the testers have to use a bit of common sense when testing headlight washers. My M.O.T is always due in January and one year the headlight washers were not only frozen solid but they had pushed out from the bodywork. Not wishing to risk a retest I phoned the garage up on the day I'd booked the car in and explained the situation. He said that he relaxed the rule when it was significantly below freezing (it was -10 overnight). As he said, people would just cancel their tests if he stuck rigidly to the rules. This doesn't cover windscreen washers though, although he usually gets one of his mechanics to defrost them.
