  1. I have a Zee bracket on mine (internet photo, not my actual car):
  2. I thought motordyne did the Helmholtz thing first? I could be wrong on them being first, but they also do (a very nice) one.
  3. Odd that, as a farmer girl I would've thought she'd have been in to a bit of Rabbit Stew.
  4. I'm sure Darren and Adrian saw that and thought "you cheeky bugger"
  5. OH, just had a message from Adrian... apparently the HR packages are the same price as the 370Z packages... now I'm scared to look.
  6. Phew, been through the site and there's nothing I want! Luckily there's no forged engine kits available for HRs!
  7. What, 3500kg? Surely that only happens if one of the Zed Shed doughnut boys is driving?
  8. In that case, I've no idea if and when ethanol is added at Stanlow. All refined gasoline will have to be approved by the lab before it leaves Stanlow. This is fairly straightforward if you are only supplying for one customer but if you are supplying 5 or 6 customers with different specifications it means extra storage, extra lab technicians and higher costs. It was industry standard when I worked there for U.K refineries to distribute exactly the same stuff to different petrol stations, it may have changed but I somehow doubt it. Pete Maybe the different ingredients only exist in the marketing brochures?
  9. Just looked this up as I'd never even thought about it, I just assumed that if they're safe to drive then you can test in them, apparently it's to do with the examiners visibility. Convertibles and panel vans aren't allowed... although I wonder what would happen if you turned up in a convertible on a hot summers day and said don't worry the roof will be down so you can see? More info here anyway: https://www.gov.uk/practical-driving-test-for-cars/rules-for-cars-used-for-driving-tests
  10. I didn't just read that Ya phoned quaife direct and mishimoto and they cant match what their distibutors can .... Just seems crazy to me ! It's quite common, as an example a manufacturer has a product that costs £40 to make and has a RRPs of £100, they sell to resellers at £70 so they both make £30 profit if they sell at RRP. The manufacturer always sell it as £100 to the public as they don't want to compete with their resellers and it's not worth the hassle to sell a few items here and there, they want bulk sales. However the different resellers are competing between each other so may reduce the price cutting in to their own £30 profit.
  11. Why not? You just have to pay for the additional dyno time.
  12. I reckon they should lift Adrian's ban for Black Friday to allow him to do a sale and then reinstate it afterwards.
  13. 350Z or 370Z? Adrian has a nice amuse for a 370: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/96473-for-sale-rare-370z-amuse-r1-titan-rs-silent-stti-exhaust-system/
  14. If you barely drive you car in winter/wet and do regular track days and want outright dry performance, AD08Rs are a great tyre. Otherwise I'd go MPSS.
  15. I think the clutch in the Z is good.
  16. Well, I've just lost all hope of ever winning the "is my 350Z roadster a hairdresser's car" argument... thanks guys!
  17. It's £170 difference... or half your road tax (if your pre 06)... or the price of a plenum spacer... or about the price to respray a bumper if have an accident... or 1.5 tanks of fuel... or a no brainer.

    Wheel nuts

There are 3 types of lugs: I'm fairly sure that all the 350Z Rays wheels have tapered lugs, although if in doubt ask Chris/Tarmac before buying.
  20. Actually... create a new thread with your classics...
