  1. Excellent buddy mohair is an excellent option. They do the different colour mohair options which is good as you can colour match closer to your cars colour, opposed to having to use black.
  2. I am so sorry to hear of this sad sad news, and was awaiting the updates with anticipation, but to open this is devastating. My thoughts are with the family and sure that he had bought a lot of happy times with all he came across. Martin first helped me when I first joined the club back in 2010 with my way around the forum and making my first appearance at Japfest with the club stand, a happy and enjoyable experience. Martin, having been an iconic member of this group for such a long time, he will be sadly sadly missed, but one thing is for certain is that ... he Will Never be forgotten. God Bless you buddy xXx
  3. Although the look very similar, it could be down to the quality.
  4. Shame you didn't know of the courtesy car, otherwise you could have held it back until this fiasco was sorted out. Many years ago BMW diagnosed a part to be faulty and replaced it. The following day the problem arose again, thus the wrong part had been diagnosed . I took it back the next day and told them to put the old part back in, was then informed that they had thrown it out so couldn't replace it. I asked for a refund on the part wrongly diagnosed and they flatly refused. I informed them it would cost them more than the part in the end. When the sales manager phoned at the end of the three year term for the three company BMW's, which were always serviced on the nail too, quoted the previous situation and he was lost for words. However the outcome was the three cars were all replaced with another dealer which in fact offered a better service all around in the end, and never again were we faced with this dilemma. So I am not sure how you would stand buddy should you request a refund on all the unnecessary parts fitted. The best of luck and should you get no luck in the end, move on elsewhere and don't look back.
  5. Sounds great. I have the 20's for you buddy should you change your mind, also should you be looking 2nd hand
  6. Is it a refundable deposit, not sure if you are putting one down as a holding deposit until arrival and inspection.
  7. Thanks buddy its my son's 2003 Fairlady, i will pass along the info to him and will see, if we can see signs of it by dropping the arch liner, opposed to removing the bumper, as I know these screw directly under the light unit so might see no evidence that way. He has tinted the lights which hasn't helped and although using high beam in instances, still like driving with candles. I have told him it's more about the practicality opposed to the look, and if HID's are the way forward and after fitment still no better off, then to remove the tint. A few members have fitted the smoked aftermarket headlights with DRL's, and wonder if they have experienced any issues? :)
  8. A good saving there and offering the 4 year warranty just brilliant.
  9. I wonder if the value of this model will hold a better residual value being an edition based on the F1 dominance. Time will tell I suppose.
  10. Mine was an automatic Mini purchased from the local auction house, bright orange and I fitted the obvious items available in the late 70s being tiny chunky steering wheel, arch extensions and wide wheels. It was so much fun, great times was had in that, At 50-60 was a bit hairy though especially on the country roads. I think we all hold a special place for our first ride.
  11. Many happy returns buddy, have a great day. :)
  12. Hello guys, does anybody know if you can buy a HID kit that can be wired to a 2003 fairlady Z, currently non xenon lights. Thank you I advance :)
