  1. must not look at the pictures...must not look at the pictures...must not look at the pictures...must not look at the pictures...must not look at the pictures...must not look at the pictures...
  2. I'm already sad enough without reading your message of sorrow, too Seriously, though, you were one of the people I meant when I said thanks - your company in Wales last year was great, and all of the hard work with your detailing session last year really gave me a car I was proud of I didn't list everybody individually, as I'm sure I would have missed somebody out - this really is a terrific friendly place Can I hang around for a while and bring a French hatchback to a meet sometime, please?
  3. Just sold it tonight - they're picking it up on Friday I will point the new owner in the direction of this forum - he seems like a real petrol head, and I'm sure its going to a good home. Just wanted to say thanks to the great community on here and to all those who have helped me along the way - this really is the freindliest forum I know Off to cry into a beer now
  4. As I said, just like an HR 350 Its even in the same place on the engine.
  5. Hope its not a repost http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=28383
  6. I guess it was raining that day, so they couldn't go for a drive Having said all of that, maybe it is important, given that there is some terrible English on forums
  7. You'll be back, well you'd better be Genuinely, I hope so - maybe in a 70? Can I hang around here in the meantime, please?
  8. My car is now advertised on PistonHeads, too http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350-z-v6-gt------------------2007/1647797
  9. Yup, I sold my Clio 182 FF to buy my Zed. Truly love driving the Zed, but its for sale now, 'cos I don't have time to use it properly, so I'm thinking of getting another 182 as a cheap runabout
  10. Thanks for all the kind comments folks The low mileage is really the clincher for me, too - I'm just not getting the time to use and enjoy it as much as it deserves. Who knows, when the house is all done, I might be back around here again, but I'd be sure I won't find another night blue with frost
  11. edit: sorry, a bit trigger happy, just read your post properly and see that you have already contacted him
  12. Another thought...2 services stamped in the book is not a full service history on a 6 year old car, regardless of the mileage
  13. Could the seats have been retrimmed due to vandalism damage, or the side airbags have deployed? If the bags have deployed, were they replaced, or is there just a resistor there? Just my thoughts.
  14. Still cheaper than the bus* from my house to work *if i ignore all costs other than fuel, but I can call those 'a hobby'
  15. Well, the time has come... ...It’s been a difficult decision to make, but I have reluctantly decided to sell my beloved Zed due to extensive and expensive renovations we are undertaking on our house. I will be buying a little runabout for the next couple of years, until finances recover and I have the time to enjoy something special again. The car is a late UK GT 350Z, with the 313PS HR engine, registered September 28th 2007 on a 57 Plate. I have owned the car for over 3 years now and have loved every minute of it. I originally bought this particular car due to the very rare and high specification the first owner chose. It is Night Blue metallic with the very rare Frost Leather interior (both options only available on the HR models from 2007-onwards). It has SatNav and Reverse Parking Sensors fitted from new, so basically every option that could be chosen. I am the third owner of the car, and it has been supplied to every owner, including when new, by Westover Nissan in Bournemouth, who are a specialist Nissan HPC Dealer. The car is completely standard and in excellent condition with only 25,950 miles (will increase slightly, as it is in daily use), it has full Nissan Service History, comprising 6 stamps in the book, 5 of which are with a Nissan HPC Dealer, the other is with a different Nissan Franchised Dealer. During my ownership, the car has only ever been serviced using quality Full-Synthetic Oils, it has also only ever been run on Shell V-Power or (rarely) Tesco 99. It has four matching Bridgestone RE050A Tyres (OEM Spec), all of which are about half-worn. It is taxed until November 2013 and MOT’d until June 2014. The last service was a P2 done on 18th February 2013, so the next will be a minor P1 service. As stated above, the car is in excellent and original condition. The Rays wheels are in excellent condition with no kerbing marks whatsoever. The bodywork is in beautiful condition, and was professionally detailed by Pristine Detailing (Wasso on 350z-uk.com) last year, and has been maintained carefully as the pictures show. The only negatives on the bodywork are a very small carpark dent on one rear wheelarch and the usual stone chips to the bumper and bonnet; this is common with all of these cars and is to be expected as it has never been painted. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or marks. As you should expect, all the electrics work properly, including ice-cold aircon and a Bose CD player that doesn't skip. Being a UK GT it has the usual high specification items such as: * Full leather interior (frost grey) * Heated and electrically adjustable seats * Cruise control * Climate Control * 18 inch RAYS alloys (excellent condition) * BOSE 6xCD player/radio with 6 speakers and subwoofer behind driver seat * Steering wheel audio controls * Bluetooth phone system (complete) * Brembo brakes * Bi-Xenon headlights * Remote central locking, alarm, imobilizer In addition to the above, the car has a Nissan Tonneau Cover fitted, which separates the two areas of the boot, to give a large space at the rear which can’t be seen from outside the car and stops things moving forward when you are driving. The tonneau involves cutting holes in the boot carpet for the brackets to pass through, but I also have a spare boot carpet without holes that will be included in the sale. Also included are genuine Nissan 350Z Floor Mats, so the carpets are in very good condition beneath them. The car was HPI clear when I bought it, has not been damaged since and I have no finance outstanding on it. Honestly, I have loved owning this car, and will really miss it when its gone – every drive feels a bit special in these cars. I know in a couple of years’ time I will regret selling, as I would not be able to find another in the same specification, but I don’t use it enough to justify keeping it, so somebody else is going to get a real beauty here. I am looking for £12,500 ONO. I am located near Wimborne in Dorset. Thank-you for reading.
  16. How could we have forgotten the Toyota Estima in this thread - Estima is a breed of potato for crying out loud
  17. Instead of drilling-out, would you not just replace the complete slider pin and bold on that design of caliper, or is that what Alex is suggesting with the parts he has in stock?
  18. That is truly glorious - they sound even better in the flesh, of course He has some serious balls to drive it like that, all hunched-up, plus it looks like it has no cage and is made from thin ally sheet and some skinny tubes
  19. Night Blue looks lovely Bems Might be selling mine soon - got the frost leather, too....sorry for the hijack, but Bems tried to nick my seats earlier in the week
  20. I knew I should have kept quiet Might be back in a 370 when the house is done!
  21. I know, I must be mad for thinking about selling, but it just isn't getting used at the moment I would love to get up to the Grasshopper, but we've got family staying down with us this weekend, so I'm unlikely to make it there - I will see what I can do!
