  1. Welcome to the forum! I once dated a girl from Taunton... What a bitch she turned out to be...
  2. For me I lost that feeling with my 350z about a year ago, but I like having a nice car for the weekends and the fact I don't have any more money I could put into the car pot the money from my 350z wouldn't buy much so its kind of I keep the 350z or I sell up and stick to my daily banger. I think the 350z is a car that is far to easy to fall out of that passion for. I'm glad you found it again, hopefully it lasts a long time.
  3. how did they fix the camera to your car? Great pictures btw also.
  4. they certainly love their long exposures.
  5. dent guys are bloody good, but they are not always the 100%, enough to not notice it unless you know its there but I wouldn't be happy knowing that its there.
  6. Probably cheaper to just buy a new door? Atleast then you wont have resprayed non matching panels or filler on your car? Either that or just take it to the bodyshop and take the hit on the bill

    Arch rolling

Just got a mate to do mine, make sure your arches don't have rust on the inner lips as it could split the metal when folding it over. My set up is 19x10.5 et-3 so I can safely say I needed them rolled haha
  8. Where do you guys buy your FI kits from? USA or UK companies?
  9. I just entered the weekly SFS Performance competition on Facebook and thought I'd see if any of you guys would be kind enough to like my car on there so I have a chance of winning something for once All you have to do is like the SFS Performance Facebook page and then click like on the picture of my 350z (link below) Thanks Guys and Girls. https://www.facebook...&type=1
  10. Taking it too literally! Tyre's are tyre's as in they are just tyre's (black round bits of rubber). They are not an indicator of how a car was repaired way back when. I wasn't referring to the quality of how well a tyre brand keeps you on a road.
  11. its an 05 Plate with 50k on the clock for £5000 once you knock them down a few hundred quid. That ain't bad considering you can still pay £6000 for a 53/54 plate. Talking of which, mine could be for sale soon haha
  12. Some people think far too much into things. Tyre's are just tyre's and not an idication of how a car was fixed. Lol. Who's to say they weren't the tyre's on the car before the crash or even replaced afterwards when its been on the road again for a while? Cat C zed doesn't have to be that bad an accident nowadays. Cheap car + insurance repair quotations using expensive full price OEM parts usually = Cat C If someone wants a cheap zed then why not.
  13. bugger me this is funny. Its a couple of KG of un-sprung weight if you fit 4 spacers, If you want the full 3.5 back over this new '1.6' in the 350z again then do one of the following: - Go on a diet and lose 2kg. - Drive around with 2kg less fuel in the car at all times. - Remove your shoes before getting in the car. - Remove any key rings you have on your keys, they can be very heavy indeed. - Leave your wallet at home. The cash saved on buying spacers over new wheels must be pretty heavy? - Swap those heavy jeans for some nice light and airy tracksuit bottoms. - Remove the radio from the car, that is a weighty old thing, and who needs it when you have a 3.5/1.6 engine to listen too. - Don't under any circumstances take the misses out in it (I'm sure she weighs a little more than 2kg so performance will be hugely decreased) - Remove spacers - Fit some performance modifications that will actually help performance to combat this additional weight (i.e. not a cone air filter...) - Cut some holes in the bumper, that saves weight and gives great air flow, win - win! - Get a hair cut (if you have decent length hair that could save some weight, if not add some back, sack and .... waxing?) - Go to the toilet just before getting in your car each time. Good bowel movements can save some serious weight...
  14. That's where i saw Clapton too!
  15. I've seen Eric Clapton, BB King and Slash in the last year or two. So many more I want to see. As for guitar hero... I'm an expert player. Boy those star power sections are a killer haha
  16. Few things to add. Dont use snow foam in very cold conditions, it will freeze onto your car! (yes I did do this once) I put an inch of snow foam in a bottle, then add 2 shots of car shampoo, then top up with warm water. As for flow rates blah blah blah, just fiddle until you get the best foam, some people try to make the simplest of things seem complicated.
  17. you're trying to sell it based on its cool engine yet there are no engine pics?
  18. http://www.news.com.au/world-news/world-trade-center-slowly-nearing-completion-as-new-york-remembers-911/story-fndir2ev-1226471727304 With the tower set to open next year, I was just curious to see what you guys think to: If your work told you tomorrow you were being giving a great promotion but it was on the 99th floor of this building. What would they have to pay you or do for you to make you willing to work there? After all this building surely has to be the number one terrorist target in the world?
  19. i drive a 53 plate Gunmetal Grey on Satin Black 19" Varrstoen alloys.
  20. I have recently started a training regime recently. I've only been going about 3 months. Alternate days of Cardio and Weights, but I have started out pretty light to try 'condition' myself somewhat. My diet has been fairly good these past few months, I went from 13st 3lbs to 11st 11lbs in about 5 weeks and since have gained a little (maybe now 12st but hopefully this is good weight as im still eating well) I'd like to ask a couple of questions to you guys in the know. I am trying to get lean but also gain some size, I have pretty skinny arms to start with and would like to get them bigger but not big as in they look chubby and flabby. lol. What do you recommend supplement wise? I do find I often lack energy in the gym when doing weights, I am certainly more at home running long distances than I am doing short bursts of weight lifting. So I need something that fills me with energy to properly attack the weights to get the best benefits? I've tried all the Maxi Muscle stuff, (Promax, Bars, Therobol etc) If anyone can give me a suppliment guide for my day to day that would be great. I generally have the food side down already. Thanks P.S NeilP In your pic you looked massive after 10 weeks, how you looking now, must be signed up for the new Hulk film by now?
  21. I've only just seen this. Such sad news, it has got to me a little bit. That's far too young a life. My thoughts are with his family and friends. What it shows me, especially from all the pictures is it shows what a car forum can really be. We all come here originally for the cars, a love of similar things is a great start, but we can make great friends here, people even find partners through sites like these. I've not been to many meets before and it seems lots of people don't go to them unless they are on their doorstep, but seeing how many people go on these trips like the Wales trip is amazing. RIP Mark.
  22. I probably got about 3500 - 4500 miles out of them lol. Also the tyres are a bitch to fit and even worse to remove, those wheels have a deep well inside so fitting and removing the 35 profile is hard work as it only just reaches in (im a tyre fitter) Best best is to just cut the bead. What that means is I cant swap them side to side to get more wear
  23. i Just banged on the door panel whilst holding the switch up, it works eventually. all it should be is a poor contact on the points in the motor. easy fix once the window goes up
  24. I think I need to weight in on this one, I may not have custom arches or 12s on the rear but my set up is: Suspension BC Coilovers wound to the bottom on the back with adjusters removed and fronts have a little left if i wanted. Dampers set to their stiffest setting bar 2 clicks Wheels Varrsteon Track 200 (ES2.2.2) Fitment Front: 19x9.5 ET22, 20mm Eibach Spacers creating ET2 Rear: 19x10.5 ET22, 25mm H&R Spacers creating ET-3 Tyres Front: Falken 452 - 225/35/19 Rear: Falken 452 - 245/35/19 Arches Rears have been rolled Camber 5 degrees on the rear Picture Time! Camber! Tyre Wear
