  1. ive only just signed up here. but i bloody love that! bet that has cost a fortune to get to it to that stage!
  2. i think the second to last pic was a before shot looking at it. ( i dont really know as i didnt get the pictures) but definatly was a great job, i knew where most the dents were to within a 2inch square and i still couldnt find them.
  3. got to finally see the results. the girlfriend took a couple of pictures to give you an idea. The main dent which started all the dent fixing, Before: After: Little dent on the door (there were 2 on the drivers and 1 on the passenger) Un dented The main man on the phone... to me lol (with all the random dent removing gear on show) Company: Paul Ogden @ Dent Wizard does the midlands area, (northampton way, but he travelled down to me which was good of him)
  4. I got Dentwizard midlands to do mine today, as it wasnt a recommendation i had a long chat first, he seemed to know his stuff, he came this morning, (i wanst there) he did the 3 dents i noticed. then he did a further 3 which i some how missed... all in all 6 dents 2 on driver door 1 on driver front wing 2 on passenger rear wing 1 on passenger door while he was there he also did a couple of dents that were on the misses TT for free. I havnt seen it yet but the misses and her mum both cannot even see where any of them were apparently. so sounds good.
  5. really? nissan that bad? my car has a full Nissan FSH bar the last service the previous owner did which was done a a BMW specialists? So i wanted to keep that up to date really, where do people suggest and what sort of money do you look at? Annoying thing is, I could happily do everything myself. Always have done, everything from filter change to engine re build. but i dont have that magical stamp for the book.... As for modifications, i dont know really, I whacked on a Japspeed K1 Y back system yesterday, had all the little dents sorted today, new windscreen going in next tuesday. then i guess just a few bits and bobs, my last car (an escort) was a big enough money pit, so id like to think i learnt something. That car had alot spent on it lol
  6. That’s the guy I know, Rob, he did a few Zeds for us last year, really nice guy and he offered us a good deal… Mike, the norm is a fixed price of about £45 a panel but when Rob helped our members out he was doing a fair few panels for similar money, a deal Rob and I arranged beforehand… I just spoke to rob and he said its not worth travelling to him. but he gave me fair bit of advise, what prices i should be looking to pay, and someones number who will be able to help. Sound bloke me thinks
  7. my insurance came to £701 from elephant, i just turned 24 last week with 6 years NCB and i have my girlfriend on there too (shes 22..) putting her on it made it £150 cheaper!
  8. also what companies did you use that you would recommend? I live 10 minutes from J13 of the M1 so wouldnt take long to go Leicester if required.
  9. what sort of dents did you have removed? Were they big round dents or general parking dents (the straight dent of the edge of a door hitting yours) ny before and after pics?
  10. Just wondering where people stand on PDR? Have you had any of your cars done? What were the results like and any companies to avoid/ recommend? Before and after pics? Thanks Terry
  11. thanks guys Sat nav... going okay except i have not had a chance to really figure it out. The girlfriend has been messing about with it though. Would be nice if it was touch screen
  12. Hi, I'm Terry 24 from Luton, Just bought a 53 Plate (2004) 350z GT in Gunmetal with all the optional extras. 1 Previous owner, HPI clear etc Just thought id introduce myself. Im after doing a few little bits to the car, first things are to sort out its niggles, got to get a couple of chips in the windscreen sorted, and couple of parking dents to get removed. I have ordered a Japspeed K1 Y back, (seems to be a love it or hate it exhaust from what i have read on here lol) Also be looking for a stainless Y section as my flexi's look cack, not blowing but i want to get it all mint. Also Service needs doing, so need to find out what that will sting me? Anyone know what a full service costs on a 350z from Nissan themselves? As for wheels, i will either refurb the Rays or get some 19s and coilovers, well see... And finally give it a good damn detail! Gives me a chance to grab out the rotary again. I did used to do full details for people but slowly stopped doing it, to much work for too little money tbh. I cant stand looking at my 350z in the sunlight at the moment, the amount of swirls and holograms it has are mental lol. Anyway enough rambling on, few pics of the car.
  13. I find you cant fit much in a garage and still find it easy to get out, i had a 3 door mark 6 escort not to long ago (no jokes please, it was my pride and joy at the time) and although that fit in it was still a joke to get out! doesnt help that garages are generally about 2.4 x 4.8m. Not even going to attempt to get the 350z in it. I just used to line the car up to the garage and just push it in.. Sod doing that with a 350..
