  1. you could get a passenger in aswell, but the exhaust will be next too there head. I had to do this few weeks ago with the same exhaust, but i now have the fun of having to do it all over again but this time with a Buddy Club Pro Spec III exhaust inc Y pipe...and a passenger.. should be interesting, will see at lunch lol
  2. i do indeed use snow foam, brilliant tool for a good clean car, but i can find my Karcher fitting... so until i find that or buy a new one im having to be careful with the washmitts. anyone wanting a clean car, and fun while doing it, get a snowlance, i personally recommend AutoBrite
  3. once again, seeing pictures of cars like that makes me feel yet again like the poorest 350z-uk member lol. i could only dream of a car like that lol although i have driven one one, and used to change tyres on cars like that regualarly. Anyone got a spare £80k odd, they dont need and fancy buying me a nice supercar
  4. Glad to see some people agree with me I cleaned mine last weekend, after doing this detail. and as i siad, cleaning it was a doddle. Just rinsed, very lightly washed with a washmitt and the TBM, barely have to touch the paintwork to remove any dirt. Meaning no scrubbing off stubborn tar and dirt and scratching the paintwork to buggery. While i was at it i thought id add a second layer of Supernatural. Job done for the summer, will just clean it now and add a cheaper wax every so offen, Will fully prep the paintwork again most proberly on christmas day. thats 6 months away, but that wouldnt include a full machine polish with correction, maybe go over it with a finishing compound if im that bored.
  5. Getting rid of swirls... thats a whole other topic! its not as easy as wiping a clay bar and some wax over your car. This gives you an idea of whats involved. (me doing my 350z the other week) http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=37618 And demolition49, it was the lighting at the time , you saw it when it was under the flood light
  6. I have just recently bought a 350z. Love it, great car (not had much to comapre it to though, unless a 2.0 N reg escort or 1.2 R reg corsa is much to compare too?) But i see alot of people move away from zed ownership and just wondered why? What reasons is there, its a great looking, good performing, okay built, reliable car. Only downfall for some are the 2 seats.. So for those of you would left the zeds in the past. How comes?

  8. At the moment, in the 350s 6 disk i have Eminems new one, ZZ top, AC/DC and a couple of mix cd's with a variety of styles of music

    K1 swap?

just put your foot down a bit more, then just shout "i cant hear you"
  10. Sorry to sound thick, but whats the R32? R32 skyline? (guess not as you said new) R32 Golf? (wouldnt have thought you'd have trouble keeping up with one of those, i guess being on a 350z forum you were in a 350z?) Is there another R32 that i have missed?
  11. best 'quick detailer' IMO is the awesome Meguires Last Touch. I use it on everything. Between every stage on a detail etc etc, costs £25, but thats for a US Galloin of the stuff! and you can dilute it 1:1 for use with clay. So works out soooo much cheaper than pre bottled crap. doesnt matter on your car Demolition49, as its already covered in swirls
  12. unscrew number plate, unscrew the 2 screws holding the plate holder on, take off to leave 2 holes and 2 screw fixings

    Nismo Exhaust

just becasue something is expensive doesnt mean its great quality. Your paying for the name, not good quality, alothough you would expect them to go hand in hand, my expeience is thats not always the case. After alot of looking into exhausts myself, i found alot of well know brands to have good reviews and comments and cost peanuts compared to brands like Nismo and HKS. If your a brand whore then there no point trying to tell you otherwise, go out and spank silly money on one. Simple answer. If it were me, id be looking more towards the middle price bracket. everyone has said it but scorpion are good for an uprated subtle exhaust. Which is what the nismo is anyway.
  18. comments like that make me think... why did i buy a 350z.. im skint enough as it is lol
  19. agreed, its the drop link, mine does it, Japex mentioned i need to do one on mine after they serviced it.
  20. oh, thought it was a usual paint it on with a brush jobbie, cant see ebay at work
  21. if you have crappy single pot cast brake calipers etc foliatec stuff is good (slap it on with a paintbrush etc). If you want a good smooth finish on brembo's then you have to paint them like a car. Primer, Top Coat and a H2 Laquer. We do alot of this type of work through my work place. Do alot of Range Rover Brembo's, Done Astons brakes, etc. Get the car or calipers down to a body shop and get a price. (make sure you have new brembo stickers though)
  22. is that a proper carbon centre dash section or just stick on vinal?
