  1. Up for sale are my Brembo Gran Turismo 4 Pot Brakes and 2 Piece Brake discs. These have larger 40mm and 45mm pistons over the OEM Brembos. I bought these a while back and spent a fair amount of money refurbishing them. But due to lack of money and lots of bills I have to sell them... Not cool... I bought these about 6 months ago, within the refurbish I: - sand blasted the calipers - split the discs and stripped the disc centres - had the calipers power coated white - had the disc centres powder coated black - fitted new piston seals - fitted new dust seals - fitted new 13.9 high tensile bolts that join the halves together - cleaned and scraped (with a fine blade) the piston edges of built up burnt on brake dust - new Brembo stickers - new cross over fluid pipes - rebuilt the 2 piece discs using existing bolts (cleaned) with new nyloc nuts and washers What you will get is: - 2x Fully built brake discs - 2x Fully built brake calipers (one is missing its bleed nipples I believe, but you can use the ones from OEM Brembo brakes, only use brembo brake bleed nipples as I found out they are different to others.) - 1x spare un-built brake caliper, - all the old seals and spare bits and pieces - 3x 350z caliper mounting brackets - 1x pair of OEM brake hoses - 1x single braided 350z brake hose - a set of high tensile nuts and bolts to mount the calipers to your hub The spare caliper is in pieces and has a cross threaded bleed nipple but with it never being repaired before you will be able to repair it if you ever need it. The discs could ideally do with a skim to level them out on the faces, the thickness of the thinnest disk is 31.62mm so you have plenty of thickness to skim away. 1 caliper does have a slight storage mark on it, but otherwise they are in good condition. See pictures below for picture of the mark. I have only ever test fitted these onto the car, as I managed to stupidly let the brake reservoir run dry I put the originals back on to go get the brakes bleed properly at Japex. I am after £425 collected or £450 posted for these. These kits retail new for an extortionate price of over $3500 so grab a bargain. Hopefully someone will want these on here before I end going to eBay. Also I have a rebuild thread here: http://www.350z-uk.c...rs/page__st__40 Picture time!
  2. Can anyone help me out, I managed to damage one of my headlight lenses recently so I need to replace it. What options of headlights are there, I see so many aftermarket options (which i don't really want to go down that route). I would rather paint the inserts on mine whilst I take the lens of etc. What OEM lights are there? I know there is: - 2003 - 2005 lights which you can't paint all black apparently due to the restrictiveness of the HID or something? Or has anyone painted all of it? - Then there's the insanely priced 2006+ lights which you can paint all black? Then am I right in saying you can get JDM headlights but these don't use auto adjust or HID and they can be told apart as they have a partly black surround from the factory? Plus has anyone opened up their lights and painted them? If so can I see some pics? Thanks Guys.
  3. Hi, I am after a 2003 - 2006 passenger side headlight or headlight lense. Ideally pretty cheap if possible as I've not long lost a job and finances are quite hard : ( Anyone got one or one of the traders? Thankyou
  4. does anyone have this to hand they can send me or direct me to a link. Everytime i apparently find on, it just downloads a download manager, I have like 3 now, I just want the driver im useless at computers. help..
  5. I know it has to be wifi for my phone, that's why I am connecting my laptop instead lol
  6. I got one of those OBD2 bluetooth thingy's months and months ago but never did anything with it as my stupid iPhone wasn't compatible. I found a bluetooth dongle thingy in a draw the other day so thought I would try connect my laptop to the car, purely for a bit of fun and not to sit there changing anything vital. Just for a gimmick really. Does anyone know of any half decent free software that I could download to use? Something that looks half decent as well and not some sort of home written black and white windows 95 looking software? Thanks guys
  7. As per the title. Saw a 55 plate import (going by the number plate shape) parked behind me in the Xscape car park at about 8-9pm. Had some 5 spoke alloys, and a nismo spoiler. Anyone of here? And for once I even had my 350z with me!
  8. Agreed, I don't think online dating is or should be a taboo like it used to be. It does seem to have a lot of success stories. Even just from people on this forum.
  9. Cheaters do my head in, why bother cheating? If you want to sleep with someone else the person you're with mustn't mean a great deal to you so just end the relationship. Or go swinging....
  10. Makes sense. Oh and on profiles they all want someone tall. Doesn't give much hope to us vertically challenged men. Don't worry about that, I'm 6ft so I'm generally taller than the majority of girls (and their high heels) yetthat hasn't exactly helped me.
  11. if i lost my job and had to downgrade, cheap 1.2 corsa does me.. I wouldn't go spend £6k plus on a clio. £750 on a corsa and bank the rest to live on if needed in case a job doesn't turn up.
  12. I have a theory with online dating. Any women on here care to agree or disagree? Online dating: It is a place where women go, sign up, often write very crap (or non existent) profiles. They then expect to sit back and let the guys come to them. The problem with this is all girls on those sites get messages regardless of what they say or look like, this makes their ego's grow, so then they start to become very very picky. This even applies to shall we say the 'slightly larger variety', the sort that wouldn't get looked at twice in the real world. But because they get lots of messages from guys (obviously just after one thing, but they don't know that) they choose the best looking blah blah you get the rest. What this does is makes it 10 times harder for us genuine guys who have common interests etc to get a reply and maybe lead on to a date.
  13. if they are simply cougars after just one thing. I'd probably do a 45 year old... Haha But to be honest, I have never done that whole one night stand thing. If I took to online dating properly, I'd be looking to find someone more long term unlike a lot of the guys on those sites.
  14. I like that some people have met others online, I do think it is the way things are going. So many people do it but don't admit it. It works surely? All there for the same thing, in the same situation so why not. I tried it for a while but I must be as ugly as a dogs backside as most just ignore me...
  15. I was walking around London yesterday and pretty much everyone I saw was a couple, and it got me thinking, where do all these people meet each other nowadays? Surely not every couple meet at the usual 'meat markets' aka nightclubs. Or are we actually turning into the online dating generation? Has anyone every done the whole get dressed up for the supermarket, or tried the online dating or are you the master of pulling at the clubs? I have been single a couple of years now and being mid twenties I'm at that stage where all the mates are coupled up and don't do socialising so I don't get to go out and meet people much. Being single used to bother me but right now i couldn't care less. So I'm not after tips on how to pick up women I'm just simply wondering where you met your other half, maybe hear some good stories. etc etc
  16. I have the same set up as Neilp, BuddyClub and Decats. My neighbour slams his kitchen window shut every time i pull on or off the drive... He is a miserable sod though... I find with any twin exit, the fit is never guaranteed. I had to put a washer between the car and the bracket on one side to get mine fitting perfect. But since fitting decats its pulled the exhaust slightly and is now a tad wonky. But as exhausts go, I went straight from fitting a K1 one week to ripping that ill fitting rubbish off and fit a Buddyclub, far superior exhaust in every way. £700 is good. for the sake of a few quid you may save shipping it from the US, would you not rather have it on your doorstep tomorrow ready for the weekend?
  17. I will soon, mine is pretty fooked, will let you know when i have changed it if you have not got one already.
  18. Hold up. You're 26 and drive a C63 AMG! I need to change my job.
  19. B Pillar trim clip. £2.95 haha anyone know anything Nissan sells cheaper? I say cheap, £3 for 1 little clip is bloody expensive really.
  20. I'm actually in Flitwick, but no one ever knows where that is so I say MK, next closest big town I guess. I have booked it into Japex to get sorted but i'm not really sure how i will be able to get it there. Would be one interesting drive driving it with its very limited brakes haha. I have one last thing to try, which is bleeding the master cylinder then bleed the brakes once more.
  21. I started my car with no exhaust from the y pipe back before and even downpipes back, neither sound nice, just sounded like a drag car, the sound didn't go with the look of the car. The Buddyclub muffles the noise and gives it a sporty note.
  22. I wont be able to do any meets for a couple of weeks as I need to get my brake issue sorted.
